Are you sure about that. We are headed to a family event on the prairies in June, booked 'decent time flights' for the trip. Our choice was an awful 5amish departure, or a 10 am departure, so we booked the decent time, as did other family members. Got an email from AC a few days ago, they changed us to the awful 5am departure, and the 10am flight has vanished from availability.

Looks to me like they are doing some consolidation and reducing on domestic as well.

It's not due to fuel supply, fuel cost might be another story.

AC always has a knee jerk response. They still haven't recovered from the mess they made in 2020.

I'm sure managers in commercial have been told by their managers that they don't want an airplane departing with an empty seat and to adjust aircraft/frequencies accordingly. Result will be that they will alienate the market and micromanage load/yield right out the door.

But again, not a supply problem on this continent.
