The supreme court of Canada ruled 3 times in favour of Mr Omar Khadr, are you saying you don't recognize our justice system Eric?

Mr Khadr was convicted in a foreign country by a military commission outside of the judicial system while he was 16 yo.

One last question for you Eric, had his name been Francois or Johnathan, do you think he would've been treated the same way??
I'm not a lawyer - but if I understand correctly the Canadian case surrounding Omar Khadr was about the violation of his human rights.

I don't believe there was a ruling on whether or not he was a Terrorist.

The Justice system is broken (along with the Immigration system) and needs to be overhauled. JMHO.

I love how people are always talking about their rights - never hear anything about the responsibilities that go with those rights.

Members of the judiciary have recently ruled that drug trafficking is a constitutional right, so, no I don’t recognize the validity of their judgment.

Mr Khadr was engaged in combat operations against a Canadian ally in an area where Canada has no jurisdiction. The nation he injured has the right to dispose of him in the way they see fit.

If he were a White Christian Trudeau would have left him in Gitmo.

@#$! him.

I did not know Mr Janson had a secretary...

Hahahaha.

But CpnCrunch would feel more comfortable flying with our famous bomb-making Afghan than the more prolific posters on AvCanada.

Can you spell deranged?

“If Omar Khadr is released on bail Thursday, he will have to wear a monitoring device and will face several conditions that restrict everything from his internet use to visits with his family.”

Those bail conditions ended in 2019:

https://globalnews.ca/news/5092158/omar ... e-expired/

Yes, it's absolutely true that I'd be happier sharing a plane with Omar Khadr than you, Pelmet. He seems a much more reasonable person than you. You might want to reflect on that.

I have reflected on that. It only proves your derangement.

CpnCruch prefers a convicted terrorist, that he has never met, as a copilot than me. Hahahaha...zero credibility.

Folks, now you know why the woke types are so destructive.

Make no mistakes guys, the very same people that convicted Mr Khadr are imposing an economic embargo on us and are also trying to annex our beautiful country as their 51st state...

What do you think will happen when they will run out of fresh water   :?:

As of this year all NEW airliners built must have a secondary means of preventing entry into the flight deck . After seeing this the faa should rethink that initative. For if the secondary restriction been inplace on this aircraft. There would have been no way for help for the injured captain to arrive in time resulting in a smoking hole in the desert

Sometimes good intension has unintended outcomes and collateral damage .

We have much bigger problems.

From the CBC(!)

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british- ... -9.7341131

Import the Third World - become the Third World.

The current situation in France and Belgium is a warning to us all.

The case against Mass Migration writes itself!
I know France and i can say that their immigration policy has always been to subjugate the` `Third world`` people and now they're reaping the fruits of that same policy, nothing to do with our immigration program.

If you think that one of the biggest gangs in Canada is led by a locked up guy 10 time zones away from here and his deputy is an illegal !! please think again. Those press releases and or ``Leaks`` are just a medium to communicate coded messages between the behind the scenes guys...

Why would I care about the nationality of gangs? Oh no, the Hells Angels are getting outcompeted!

It has about as much effect on my daily life as other things the right obsesses about like per capita GDP (our wage IF we were Communist), or what other consenting adults do with their private parts.

We have a long way to go to get to US levels of gang violence mainly because of the complete lack of easy access to firearms suitable for committing crimes.

Ironically, organized crime controls the supply better than the government could. Go on and try and get an illegal weapon illegally in Canada. It’s not the RCMP that will stop you….

And to bring it back to the original subject. What race or creed were the pilots of Germanwings and Horizon Air?

I stopped reading after "GDP per capita doesnt mean anything". Thats about enough to know that nothing Bob says can ever be taken seriously.

Indian gangs extort Indian businesses. Chinese gangs extort Chinese businesses. They do their business in cash to avoid taxes and send the money back to their relatives in their home country. If anything the gangs are doing us a favor. If that ever changes you'll see some major crackdowns.

90% of all our problems linked with immigration discussed here can be fixed on a 50% remittance tax on ALL non-commercial money sent overseas. Suddenly, Canada isn't the World's Piggy Bank anymore, and those that shouldn't be here, leave.
