Somewhat helpful for me too. I just bought a "like new" megger in the box with out a booklet and my job today is to meg out a old rehab house with no service and vacant, for wiring replacement where needed. I do hope the instruction will serve me well. thanks for the input.

OH, and thanks for the calibration tip. I did not know that.

I would just use a Tazer instead. It has a duel purpose at YVR. Check your wiring then subdue an immigrant. It only hurts for a bit.....fade to black.
