200hr.. Good call.

I'm guessing everyones seen me trying to stoke the fire in a couple of other threads. Some people need a good poke in the eye before they'll speak up. Seems to have worked :twisted:

Maybe we wouldn't have to deal with a lot of the BULL that goes on and poor treatment and ridiculously low pay by some ops with such an association.

Rowdy;

There is an old saying, "When you are in a hole up to your neck, stop digging".

I tend to agree. That is a stupid cartoon and it irritates me to no end. So don't apologize.

When it comes down to it, in aviation, in this entire world actually, there is only one type of respect that truly matters: self respect. And for some it comes by simply breathing, existing and going to whatever flying job, others seem to work so much harder for it. I'm having a tough enough time with it myself.

Thanks CIL

When I first started flying helicopters a finished with an r22 endorsment. I had no scrilla (a little j-roc anyone?) left over. For all you stiff plankers out there you need an endorsment on type in the heli world. I was hired right out of flight school, they paid for my gas driving my V8 gas guzzler across the country, food, etc etc while being on the pay roll the monday after I finished training. I was put up in a crew house and got to see every corner of western canada while being paid very very fairly for it. Infact once I got flying they helped foot my girlfriends bill for coming out when she finished uni. Also when I got flying, they gave me my jetbox endorsment, about 30 hrs company ops training, ppc of course, and no training bond/sign on for so long blah blah. They did this for 4 other 100 hr guys that year. Plus I was getting paid the same flight pay as anyone else flying that type. Your base pay goes up as your rank goes up.

Lets call them company A

Company A was having a hard time getting me past 1000 hours. They met a guy from company B who had a 6-12 mnth contract job and need a few guys. I bit........untill they wanted me to shell out for an endorsment......I said no.....they said hang on and ended up paying for it. Long story short I was getting buttsecksed on pay and employers raise promises weren't coming threw and I quickly went back to company A. Boss at comany A was not happy with B over things and told them cya later. Company B quickly found other guys with money over flowing out of their pockets and didn't mind making 6.75 an hour.

Everyone asleep yet?

Guess what I am trying to say is that their are some great company's out there. You guys need to quit selling your self so cheap. Those days should be long gone. I know your passion for aviation. I sit at home on my weeks off and still run to the window when I hear aluminum b%^&h slapping the air after hearing it for 42 days. It's in your blood or you wouldn't all be on here hashing it out. But is it worth selling your blood?

wow.......I got deep on that one

The way I see it is we need a Professional Pilots Collage of Canada, the PPCoC.
So where would one apply to this peepeecock?
