Aye.. and I've met some male (and no, not the prissy meterosexuals) pilots that were dumb as posts in regards to mechanical knowledge. :shock:

I'm a little tired of the whole "female" pilot thing. Don't have much use for the term "male" nurse either. BTW, I AM one of the aforementioned "posts"! Cheers Meecka!

Look on the bright side Meeka, these pilots who know nothing about machinery keep you working by breaking it.

And they are a never ending source of entertainment when they try and describe what they think is wrong with it. :mrgreen:

The most difficult thing about flying is knowing when to say no.

After over a half a century of flying I can not remember even one trip that I refused to do that resulted in someone getting killed because of my decision not to fly.

Some of the best pilots I know are women.
Some of the worst pilots I know are women.

I don't believe that gender is an issue in the potential of a pilot.
