There are definitely better companies that operate the same equipment in the area.Go around wrote:Be very weary of Skylink. Best to stay away. Problems getting your last pay, management non-existant, no vacation pay, no stat holiday pay and no overtime pay.
As for the pilots, they are top notch. You won't find a better group. Unfortunately all the other headaches aren't worth it.

Hey,
I've heard rumours that Skylink hires guys with around 600tt. Anyone know if this is fact or not? Also do they mind if you drop resume's off in person or would they rather e-mail/fax?
Thanks in advance.

Ah I believe you heard incorrectly. And besides, why would you want to put yourself through the misery of working with this organization?

I'm too expensive...they can't afford me...plus I'm busy. The new guy is doing a great job. Hard to top that.Pitter wrote:Ya, Dog. How about it? You could do it just fine. Might cramp your style though. What do you think?

I'm not that smart in life but...why would anyone work @ SKK?shack wrote: And besides, why would you want to put yourself through the misery of working with this organization?
Maybe getting a +12500 lbs endorsement.
Maybe getting a break with low time when no one else would give you one.
Maybe working closer to home.
Maybe because those there now seem to understand the value of a recommend AND keep their word to the one(s) that went out of their way to recommended them to the company.
Maybe just maybe...for being thankful you got a job rather than slandering it on these forums would be refreshing and outside of the norm and does NOT insul those left behind by choice, AND design.
Never bite the hand that feeds you...it shows no class.
It's a positive working environment amongst the SKK flight crews...a tight group that watches out for each others backs, (with a couple of exceptions) Everyone there are ALL great people to work with. Even some recent past players...

Anyone know if they're hiring 1900 f.o.'s soon? Preferably for hamilton. Also any tips on interviews there or anything else that would help to get in there? Lastly what what hour range are guys typically hired there with on the 1900, i know it says 1000 on the website but whats it been lately?

Hey guys,
Probably won't be hiring on the 1900 for a while. We've got a handful of guys from the 208 waiting for an opportunity on the 1900; so the commitment is with them at this time. With the 208 we are downsizing, so it'll be at least probably 6 months before anything would happen of the 1900.
