Looking at the pic of the skidmarks posted by Ralliart, it looks like the darkest marks are those made by the nosewheel being turned to the right stop.
If so, it does start to sound like a mechanical failure or some human/machine interface screw up.
Oh, an just to clarify, the F/A doing a "show" in the cockpit was not AF, she flew for AOM.
