I figure after Boeing made the 727 so good they decided not to even try with the 737. I miss working on the 727-200s but if I never saw a POS 737-200 again I would die happy.
Geez did I say that....? Or just think it....?

Oh, but the public wouldn't want those loud 727's flying over their neighbourhoods (even though where 5T operates, neighbourhood is a 500km square radius with a population of more than 50). Just too noisy. The 737-200 is much quieter with only 2 turbojets that still make my sternum feel like its fracturing.AirMail wrote:perhaps it's the maintance, funny how there are plenty of 727's just as old as those 737-200, and those 727s are flying around every night with a few operators that have a 95-99% on time performance.
