Cause they know despite all the good advice about not taking loans out for your job and stories from people who have been f*cked over by voyageur, jetsgo, et al, they are still going to have pilots fighting for the chance to do it.

If the CP is ex-voyageur how much PC-12 experience could she/he have? Or does that not matter?

Decent salary and free training would be my only requirements. Nothing like what you listed above. Sadly even those two things are quite rare.

Lets try this another way MG_.

I would like some guidance from you.

I have just received another request from a customer to do a type rating in Europe, the customer wants it done in May or June.

I doubt I will do it because I have had enough of being away from home to teach someone to fly an airplane...but...if I do decide to do it what would you advise me to ask for as far as expenses and pay etc. goes?

I am interested in seeing what your ideas would be on this.

Look this isn't supposed to be a game. If you've got some constructive advice, I'd love to hear it. But if you're going to be a negative bastard and try to bring everyone down, you may as well just not say anything at all.
.

I thought this forum was for pilots to exchange ideas?

If you feel that I am nothing less than a negative bastard that is fine with me, I have already been through the learning process and don't really need someone to advise me.

I won't bother to tell you what I get for my services as a pilot because you would only come back with some other demeaning comment.

By the way the reason some companies sodomize pilots financially is because the pilots don't have anything to bargain with...such as experience...so how is that for adivse MG_?

Had a look at your previous posts and got to wondering about a couple things.
I START EVERY INTRO TO INSTRUMENTS WITH AN INTRO TO THE SIX
PACK
This six pack you speak of, I assume you mean the flight instruments?
AND WHAT SOURCE EACH INSTRUMENT HAS. THAN I DISCUSS
HUMAN LIMITATIONS AND HOW ONE MUST TRUST THEIR INSTRUMENTS
AND NOT THEIR BODY SENSATIONS.
Have you conquered those sensations yet?
LASTLY I DISCUSS THE RADIAL
SCAN FOR STRAIGHT AND LEVEL FLIGHT.
WTF is a radial scan?

Thanks for the advice. However, you're riding the "negative bastard"/"this is a life lesson" line a little too closely for my liking!
Then don't listen to what we have to say MG_ quite frankly it is you who is looking for a job flying a small single engine airplane not Doc or me.

How else is one supposed to respond to such utter rubbish about how to fly instruments? :drinkers: :smt043

What is it that you find absurd about this method of teaching instrument flying?

What would your recommendations be for introducing non instrument rated pilots to the new skill of IFR flight?

Tiny Voices, first we would have to be in an airplane for me to show you how I teach people to fly by the use of instruments only.

And I can assure you it would not be by using that paint by numbers method.

We need a base to build knowledge upon. Think that starts before one even sets foot in an airplane.

Yes, so what is your point?

Maybe you and I have different ideas on how to impart knowledge and how to teach others different flying skills.

So be it.

Guess my point is that i won't be joining you for a little bit of one on one instrument instruction :D . But exactly! So be it. 804 uses a method that works for him/her. You have you style that's all yours, and i had mine when i was teaching this stuff.

doc, you want knowledge of the training bond? who here wants knowledge about why doc is so pissed about bonds? cause i have a feeling this has to do with a specific experience... you for sure obviously got f'd over on a bond. should i go into detail?

doc talks a big talk on bonds, but let him tell you about at least one company i know he worked for that incorporates bonds, and possibly why he doesn't like them?

doc, struck a nerve with you yet? i could into a lot more detail about your history. more people on here know exactly who you are than you think.

stop ruining legitimate threads.....seriously. you have made your point! you don't like bonds, we get it!!!!

My thoughts exactly C206. DOC needs to just shut the F@$K up. Speak up DOC says your free to say what you want on here. Hows YQK DOC cold and bitter I bet.

Well, I for one appreciate Doc not shutting the "f" up. He had some wise words for me awhile ago regarding my first opportunity which entailed a bond and he certainly played a major role in me not taking that job. And for that I'm in his "debt"
