Sheila, you strike me as abit of a bag. Perhaps you have a debilitating case of this horrible affliction.

Try more loosely fitting shoes.

Anyhow, for the record - no, I am not gay.

I'm actually with scottaero on this one and really don't give a shit what people do in their spare time if they are professional at work.

I would even go so far as to say, I would not want anybody on my crew being harrassed, for whatever reason.

On that note however, as our pal Cam chimes in:
cam wrote:There is a female AME that works with Canjet here in Halifax that is HOT! It makes working those f---king non-movable-belly 738's a little more bearable.
Hmmm - yes. Not sure what a non-moveable-belly 737 is but I do understand where he's comming from.

Work though, is really no place to be a crotch-owl and, gay or straight, we've all got important jobs to do and should be cognisant of that.

Regards,

A gay engineer would probably design a really stylish, cool bridge, IMHO.

No Hedley's a real engineer, not the bogus ones that we supposedly are.

And to make the public feel safer - knowing that it's not a bunch of knuckle-dragging 'mechanics' fixing their airplane.

Actually, most of the public don't even want to know that an airplane might have to be 'fixed'.

The thought of one being br00ken is wayyy too scarry..

You'll have noticed I'm sure, how airline / helicopter company promotional material only ever has pictures of beaming pilots. Never pictures of sullen mechanincs in greasy coveralls with burned up guide vanes, mangled tail rotor blades and handfulls of broken cylinder studs and chunks of R-2000 exhaust. Never.

How true... although it was either Garuda or Singapore Air... their pre-flight safety video included a bunch of engineers running around the airplane checking tire pressure and giving thumbs up to various things... :) no thumbs down though. Like you said, the public doesn't want to see that an airplane can break. But I thought this was rather clever marketing. At least they were showing that things get checked. :D

Ahaha Shelia and Strega are in fact the same person! Does that mean that Strega/Shelia is a tranny? Or does that deserve a new thread all together about transsexual engineers, er mechanics er grease monkeys, what ever the politically correct term is these days!

You don't usually see Strega in this forum. And if you can read past the third grade grammar, spelling, and social skills; what he writes actually gives evidence to cognitive thinking. I think Sheila is someone else... :)

You are an idiot and must be gay. If you are or were, I'll just point out that gays can be the worst ignoramus's, who go around thinking and calling every one they meet, gay. Some gays and straight people are bullies, when they call people liars or harrass them, for saying they are not gay or if they CHOOSE not to be. I saw this on a tv show recently but it could be happening in real life where there is strong gay influence like at a parade. Why don't you mind your own business?
   can i have some of whatever you're on????

Which part do you think is crazy? The part where I said maybe HS-748 used to be gay and now he can tell if someone's gay or someone who isn't? That's what I basically said. Oh and people like him like to bully others for choosing not to be gay.

Sorry brokenwing but I'm not interested.

Haha good read, havn't been to the misc section in awhile. Anyways, this is a true stroy and can be confirmed by all those who are in the helicopter industry here on the west coast. There is one gay engineer I know of. It is the most fucked up thing i have ever seen. This fellow had the lopitoffofme surgery and became a woman. The catch is he/she likes women. Born a man but deep down a lesbian and when the timing in life was right decided to become a woman to fullfill his lebian tendancies. So is he/she really gay?????? Please, those of you who know who i am talking about, lets leave names and place of employment out of it.
