This just in, Canuck band wagon now empty. Just love those canuck fans.
Re: For you Canuck Fans
Why is there a BC Ferries advertisement under the scoreboard!!??? You take the ferries out of necessity not impulse or choice. Someone is using the BC Ferries for free Canucks tickets.
Re: For you Canuck Fans

So what if we lost game 5, it just means that we'll win it in 7 instead of 6

It was a shame to see Luongo rolling around on the ice like a soccer player (pops back up in 5 seconds, however). It was also a shame to see the giant greasepot he left on the ice when he performed that maneuver.

Hinterland: Who's who.
Here we have the rare Vancouver Canuck (Lotuslandis Canucias), in its natural habitat. During the cold months, they range from Southern California to Central Alberta, but they are native to Vancouver, on the West Coast of British Columbia. These graceful and powerful creatures are highly competitive during the winter months, but often suffer from inconsistent order within the team and lack of perseverance. In spite of their faults, these creatures have a loyal following among certain idealistic humans. Curiously, with the abundance of resources available to the Canuck; there are only about 25 of these rare species in existence today. You can easily recognize the Vancouver Canuck by its springtime call.
"Fore!"
For more information on the Vancouver Canuck, contact your wildlife department, or talk to the guy with the big 'C' on his shirt crying in his beer.
Sorry, couldn't resist. Good run boys!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
LOVE IT
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT
Canucks fans are terrible....I'd bet $20 that tomorrow everyone's going to be whining and you're going to hear the following things:
"I knew they wouldn't do it"
"Chicago was just too fast"
"You can't totally rely on Luongo"
"Trade him, fire him, hire him"
and on and on it'll go
a far cry from the "we're going for another sweep, we rule, LOUUUUUUUU, cries you heard after the first game.
Ah, I'm gonna go drink several pitchers in jubilation. Welcome to the golf course Canuckleheads.

Give it a rest, it was a great game.
Sorry to see the Canucks out of it, but have to give kudos where kudos are due ... Kane's goal for the hat trick was stupendous.

The Hawks are amazing, what a hockey team.
I'd pay to see them play, Vancouver on the other hand.... Booby Lou flopping around like he's been decapitated, not so much.
Too bad the last Canadian team is out, but the Hawks are mostly Canadian kids anyway, and way more exciting.
Game seven Pit/Wash on Wed...

Re: For you Canuck Fans
Here here! I was at the game the night Clint Malarchuck had his jugular cut in Buffalo, that might have been cause for rolling around, but alas he skated OFF the ice!!! Then there's Exxon Valdeeze rolling around on the ice like some sort of Dominik Hasek reincarnate. Glad they're out!sky's the limit wrote:

It was a great game Widow... I was on and off my seat during the whole thing. But to ask to give it a rest is like asking Doc to just accept bonds... ain't gonna happen. It's just part of the game.Widow wrote:Give it a rest, it was a great game.

They truly are... young, fast, dedicated, motivated talent... hard to compete with.sky's the limit wrote:he Hawks are amazing, what a hockey team.

They're all Canadian teams in my book... Detroit is the only team who is slightly non-Canadian. I cheer for players at this point now that my Habs are out.sky's the limit wrote:Too bad the last Canadian team is out, but the Hawks are mostly Canadian kids anyway, and way more exciting.

I really like a few of the Hawks players, but truly only cheer against the Canucks because my best friend is a Nucks fan. It's just the way we do things here. He busted my balls when the Habs were swept... it's just part of the fun.

Anyway, Caps for victory in game 7... Caps/Hawks for the cup finals.... as long as Boston, Carolina or Detroit doesn't win, I'm happy, happy.

Edit- almost forgot... to all you Canucks fans out there... Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha....

We now return to our regularly scheduled programing...

No trees were harmed in the transmission of this message. However, a rather large number of electrons were temporarily inconvenienced.
Re: For you Canuck Fans
Anybody remember Luongo's ill timed gesture a couple years ago that ended the Canucks playoff run as a weak shot from the point went in? Now in game six do or die he surrenders 7 goals? Does he choke under big pressure?
You can interpret that however you would like.
Re: For you Canuck Fans
51 weeks since the last post and history is on the verge of repeating itself Vancouver style once again. Maybe next year...

But you're right... he's certainly not playing the level of hockey he should be and is capable of... it doesn't mean he's not a great tender though. You can have Carey Price in the off season if you want. I'm sure he'll be on the chopping block.

Re: For you Canuck Fans
The "We are all Canucks" slogan should be changed to "There is always next year..." (kind of catchy). I'm not totally giving up faith but there is no way those guys are going to win 3 in a row against Chicago playing the way they have played in the last couple of games.
