When did Westjet start flying to Ponoka?

Hey FM,

If you do ever get on a flight somewhere just remember when that door closes, the Captain is the final authority to ensure the guests, crew and airplane are safe (especially from disruptive pax).

Can you accept that or would that make the Captain a tyrant?

Rules are rules, try to follow them. It what makes things kind of civil, you should be happy you live in a place where people line up for things.

Attention Free.-Men. The recognition of our innate (in + natum, i.e. born into) rights as Free.-Men is not at hand. Our brother Menard carries on the courageous and lonely battle. The Corporation (and it's licensees --- see Transport Canada, see Attorney General) now running our loose confederation has usurped your abilities to defend yourself against illegal and unconscionable taxation, registration in non-sensical granfalloons, and now APPREHENSION by that illegal spawn of the devil: The U.S. of A. To whit, I submit further evidence :

the link to the case

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF BRITISH COLUMBIA

Citation:
United States of America v. Emery et al.,

2005 BCSC 1192 Date: 20050817 Docket: 23525

Registry: Vancouver

IN THE MATTER OF the Extradition Act, S.C. 1999, c. 18, as amended
AND IN THE MATTER OF

United States of America

and

Marc Scott Emery aka “The Prince Of Pot”

Gregory Keith Williams and

Michelle Rainey-Fenkarek aka “Michelle K. Kale”

and

AND IN THE MATTER OF

Robert – Arthur: Menard

[4] Robert-Arthur: Menard applies for leave to intervene in the extradition proceedings either on his own behalf or on behalf of the Elizabeth Anne Elaine Society.

[5] Counsel for the Applicant in the extradition proceedings, United States of America, submits that this application should be dismissed on the basis that an extradition judge does not have jurisdiction to appoint an intervenor in extradition proceedings. In the alternative, if this Court were to find that jurisdiction does exist, counsel submits that the Applicant has not satisfied the test for intervenor status.

[6] Counsel for the Persons Sought has indicated on the record that he takes no position in this Application.

Position of the Applicant for Intervenor Status

[7] I mean no disrespect when I say that the position of the applicant for intervenor status is not altogether clear. I can do no better than to quote from a portion of his application:

The concerns of the Elizabeth Anne Elaine Society are or will be set out in the Affidavit of Robert-Arthur: Menard, Director of the Elizabeth Anne Elaine Society, to be filed in support of the motion or application. Robert-Arthur: Menard argues that there is here a question of public law to which the Elizabeth Anne Elaine Society could bring a perspective different from that of the parties and the application for intervener status should be allowed.

Robert-Arthur: Menard claims that The Elizabeth Anne Elaine Society is concerned with the way in which these proceedings were instigated and are being conducted and has worries that the requirement of clear and informed consent is not being properly procured. He is very concerned that the compassionate judicial system of this land, one which this Nation has struggled to create and maintain, is under assault by a power which is blind to the societal worth of compassion, and is in fact in the corporate business of securing workers for their prison factories. He is further concerned with the fact that the provincial and federal governments of this land are not fulfilling their duty of defending their citizens and do in fact seem to be in collusion with a threatening foreign party. A further concern is the fact that the people of Canada and of British Columbia are not being represented by any party before the court, and thus the court may completely lack authority in this matter. He will further present an argument advancing the belief that the actions of the accused are not unlawful as required by the applicable Treaty but merely illegal and thus not covered by the Treaty.

Robert Arthur- Menard claims that he has a direct interest in this case, since it is apparent at least to him that the governments of this land have abandoned their posts as no one in the court is representing or acting on behalf of the Canadian people. This is not normally the case, as the prosecutor normally acts upon their behalf. In this case, the prosecutor is on record stating she was “speaking on behalf of the DEA”. It is thus clear she is not and cannot be considered to be representing Canada or its people. Mr. John Conroy is on record as speaking on behalf of his clients and they certainly do not form the whole of nor represent the Canadian population. It is a deep and fundamental assault on the Canadian psyche to know concerns which have been voiced across this land in every major newspaper will not be shared in any manner in a proceeding which may set a precedent which the majority clearly fears.

The Treaty allows for the Extradition of those activities which are ‘against the law’ in the host Country. However, the actions of the accused were not ‘against the law’ at all, they contravened a statute and to label a statute as a law without examining the need of consent is disingenuous. Laws do not require consent in order for the contravention of them to be unlawful. Rape, murder and the like do not require any ones consent in order to be against the law. Actions of the type the accused are charged with do require at the very least a foundation of consent in order for the actions to be ‘illegal’.

It is the APPLICANTS belief that there is a direct interest as what is happening will directly effect how the government operates in respect of acting as a representative for the people of this country when in court. All Canadians have a direct interest in the outcome of this case as it will determine the level of future co-operation between the RCMP and the United States government. Even if it could be argued that there is no direct interest, there is public law issue to which the APPLICANT can bring a different focus or perspective.

The American Prison System and SLAVERY:

Robert-Arthur: Menard will argue that the American prison system has in fact turned into a system amounting to slavery, where prisoners are economically forced to provide labour for corporate entities. Stock in private prisons can even be purchased on the open market and the Prison Industrial System now operating is one very hungry Beast with a growing appetite. It a clear they will always need MORE employees/prisoners/slaves. Furthermore, these corporate enterprises are primarily concerned with profit and not-rehabilitation or re-integration and using punishment as a means of corporate enrichment is cruel and unusual. Speaking of societies, none of the accused are members of the society governed by and under the jurisdiction of the Grand Jury which handed down the Indictment.

The right of the people in this Country to be represented in Court actions.

Normally this position is filled by the prosecutor as they normally speak on behalf of “The Crown”. According to the words of the prosecutor, she is speaking for the DEA. No one is speaking for the people in this country who are expressing outrage and serious concern about this apparent intrusion on Canadian sovereignty. The learned Judge is not allowed to speak on behalf of or represent the Canadian people as doing so would itself bring into question their ability to justly adjudicate. No one is representing the Canadian interest nor bringing to this court the Canadian perspective which must be heard.

For those reasons the Motion/Application for Intervener status must be granted.

By My hand and compelled by My Faith and in the interest of justice, this Affidavit is humbly served by Robert-Arthur: Menard, a Freeman-on-the-Land, as a Friend to the Court, in defence of Canada’s Sovereignty, for the purpose of protecting the fundamentals of justice, in the defence of Freedom and in the hopes of finding a peaceful resolution.

Created by My Self without malice aforethought, ill will, vexation or frivolity.
At your peril...

Rules are rules, try to follow them. It what makes things kind of civil, you should be happy you live in a place where people line up for things.
I take it the Ponoka remark is what you consider clever and witty, right?

I can and do accept that when I am on a plane or ship or even a bus the Captain is the final law. I know and accept that. It is part of the terms of our contract and I unlike WestJet I honour my contracts and keep the law which is actually very simple regardless of how complicated some parties want you to believe it is.

Do not harm another.
Do not damage someone else's property.
Honour your contracts and do not use fraud or mischief in your contracts.

I was harmed by WestJet when they interfered with my rights and when they failed to honour their contract with me.

As for being unruly, ask the lovely lady I spoke with when I was denied if I subjected her to any negative emotions. I think her name was Sandra and she was polite and courteous and I believe I was also, even though I was angry and frustrated. I try to live my life with honour and in a manner that does not harm or deny dignity. I am sorry if you think that makes me unruly. In the past all the times I flew with WestJet, there was never a hint of a complaint about me and I even made friends with some employees who were traveling to some sports competition you guys have between airlines. Seemed like fun and nice people and I admit I am a bit of a nervous flyer and they helped make me feel comfortable and at ease.

You want to talk about following rules? Read the regulations and show me where it says clearly, specifically and unequivocally that once you have done your duty and asked to see government issued Identification that you have a further duty to deny the passengers without government issued id a boarding pass. Can you show me this, oh great lover of rules? That is what it will come down to in court, and since I have already deconstructed that Act and regulations and have sought legal opinions from a Queens Counsel and a regular lawyer and they agree with me. Maybe you should call your legal department and show them where it says that those without government issued id must not be allowed to board. Can't do it can you? Because you operate on assumption and without thought. If your mechanics operate in the same way, I don't think I want to fly with you folks any more.

And yes I am quite happy I live in Canada and that I am the kind of guy that will defend the rights that others died for and I do not want to see those rights lost by blind obedience and ignorance. Both I and my father served in the Military ready to stand and defend and if needed sacrifice. And this is what we get for it?

I have no problem carrying documents or identifying myself, and if the people in the government wish to provide it I would accept it as a gift. They won't accept that though, they want it to be issued as a result of a submission and application. This is a complete abandonment of your rights. I do not need to be in a contract with any government body in order to exercise the rights I was willing to defend, even if the whole rest of the country is asleep and deluded and never even look at the meanings of the words that are used to govern them. This allows deceivers to in effect steal our entire country and the rights which you seem to take for granted will be lost. They must be constantly exercised, or they wither and disappear. Let there be no doubt, if you are issued anything the issuing party is the master not the servant, and you are now in some form of contract or perhaps a trust arrangement where they get to administer your account. Anytime anyone is issued something, be it a uniform or id cards, they are now an employee of the one who issued. Why must I be employed in some manner by the government in order to exercise my rights? Telling me I must enter a contract that will allow me to be issued Id in order to exercise a right is extortion. And for your information, the Aide to the Minister agrees with me on all these points and is working to help find resolution without conflict or court. He knows you messed up when you denied me access because he knows how to interpret statutes and regs and he knows the standard required before rights are deemed affected.

As to the other point about id cards being issued by the World Freeman Society, they are in fact issued by the members themselves and they serve us a copy and we then certify that the one they have matches the one we have in our files. Thus they are the master and our administrative staff are their servants. This is how it is supposed to be, and how it used to be, before the population became so dumbed down.

Some people it seems will never wake up and will spend their lives as children who rely on smart ass quips like "When did we start flying to Ponoka" instead of engaging in a rational, logical discussion to find common ground and peace even though political or spiritual views and values may be markedly different. People will willingly sign documents with the words application and submission on them and never look up the meanings or examine the ramifications of those words, and when people like myself do, they are ridiculed for not blindly obeying.

Sad really when you consider how many sacrificed and how much they gave so we could have the rights we do. And yet when people stand to exercise them, people like you ridicule them.

So distressing sometimes....

I couldn't get through more than a couple paragraphs, but from what I gathered, you forgot your gov't ID at home, and are making a big deal out of it? I mean, you flew Westjet before, so you must of had your ID then, otherwise you wouldn't have flown then. Therefore, I deduce you forgot, and now you want to make some political statement. BTW, WJ doesn't check ID for the fun of it, they're forced to do it, so take your beef, your long-winded posts, and find some anti-government forum to cry foul on. Oh, and in case you think this is a slam dunk, airlines are sued by idiots every day, they have a very good legal department, and very little gets past them. Good luck.

I do not have government issued anything, and when I flew before my identification documents were accepted. It is an Affidavit signed by a Notary Public attesting to who I am. It has my picture, signature and certain personal information and is sufficient for the court to start process and as such your airline will have a very difficult time claiming more is needed to establish identity. Especially when the communications between your airline and Transport Canada specifically and clearly acknowledge they know who I am. The Passenger Protect Program is not about protecting passengers, but of achieving submission and doing so unlawfully.

I have used my documentation of identity before about five or six times and it is all I have. And yes, they are forced to 'check id' they are however not forced to deny a boarding pass to those without government issued id and I will prove it in court and anyone who thinks they are, is simply ignorant and untrained in how to interpret statutes and regulations. And when I do establish the truth judicially, your actions are going to look like egg on your face and establish that your company acted unlawfully.

I do however wish you all peace, and hope you all continue to fly safely bringing people to their loved ones. In the end that is what it is all about.

Robert Arthur Menard of North Vancouver has been prohibited by the Supreme Court from appearing as counsel, preparing documents for use in proceedings, and identifying himself in any way that suggests he is a lawyer. He was also ordered to pay costs.
And when given every opportunity to identify my self as the affected party subject to the order, neither the Law Society who sought the order, nor the people in the court who gave it, are willing to point to me and say that I am the one affected by the order. And wanna know why? He who gives an order is liable for a bill, and that includes the courts. Think I am joking? People who give orders to their fellow man are liable for a bill and when a man was in court and ordered to stand, he asked if that was an order. The bailiff agreed it was and the man then gave him an invoice for $1000. The Bailiff, full of arrogance laughed and showed it to the judge , who did not laugh and asked the Bailiff if he had ordered the man to stand. When the judge found out an order was given, accepted and performed, the bailiff became liable. The man walked out with a cheque from the Bailiff for $1000 and cashed it. This has been verified and recorded.

Something tells me you people are not going to like me much when I am done. Especially when my Fee Schedule kicks in and I start bleeding your company at a rate of $60K a day and a bunch of other people join in and do the same thing... We could easily cost you millions per day. Have any of you ever seen what a properly served fee schedule does to people who claim authority? I have used them to get people who were unjustly arrested and jailed freed in a matter of hours.

And yes you do have a legal department and they have dealt with 'idiots' before. They have never dealt with me, and I am very far from an idiot. As a matter of fact, having had my intelligence and emotional quotient fully tested in laboratory settings, I know I am to someone of average intelligence what they would be to an idiot. On top of that I give new meaning to the terms tenacious and crafty and that is why some call me a Wolverine. (Stems from my army days.) And let us bear in mind, fully half the people out there are by definition below average intelligence, and of the remainder, 80% are within 10 points of average. Not bragging, but mine puts me in the top half percentile.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!
Rob

Dear Freeman Menard,

You have made the assumption that all the people who reply to you are WS employees - this is not so.

In response to some colorful replies you have taken a hard ass stance and now intend to punish WS with some fantastic fee schedule.

Your intent is now to bring down a company with your alliance of hippies and lawyers and zealots from another dimension. Have fun with that. As a courtesy to you I would suggest that you visit the entire criminal code and not just the parts that serve your quest.

I am BTW an employee of WS and would like to invite you to consider different methods - you have made adversaries when you could have made friends. Some people took a few jabs at you and rather than continuing to debate or gain sympathy you went on the offensive. Grow some stones and think things through - otherwise people are going to keep on thinking that you're a dumb-ass.

Hi! Actually I have no desire to harm you or your company, and the purpose and intent of the fee schedule is not to get paid, but to motivate the one served to sit down and use the tools of discussion and negotiation to settle differences. This is why there is a period between service and actuation. I thank you for bringing me up to speed about the members here and I apologize if my stance came across as harsh or unforgiving. I honestly strive to be patient and compassionate.

All I want to do is be able to fly on WestJet and when doing so act in a manner that is respectful and peaceful and does not harm. I refuse to enter into a contract that sees me abandon my rights and be issued anything in order to do so. I have a Promise of Peace served on the government and they know I am in fact a peace loving man.

Seriously, thank you for your words. I will take them to heart and strive to find remedy that harms no one. I read them just as I was about to file my documents and serve my notice, and I will thanks to you, reconsider that action and wait a bit.

Sure. The founding members felt that if we started and tried to act democratically to start up, that doing so would become a great burden and make us an easy target for infiltrators who might wish to derail us, yet we want to operate as democratically as possible So the 1000 members figure is what we set as a goal and when we meet that, we will have elections to determine who sits in positions of responsibility. I may have expressed it incorrectly and as the Interim Director, I can't wait till we get there so someone else can step up and do what I am trying to do, although if someone wants the role before then, it would be theirs without struggle or conflict. I have asked others to step up, but none seem keen to do so and I find it a struggle as it is not really my forte. Those thousand members do not control the society, it is at that point we relinquish control to them, and from that point they share it with all members regardless of when they joined.

I hope that clears it up a little and if you have a better idea how to get a new global society off the ground I would be open to hearing it.

Peace eh?

Hello Rob,

I find it quite interesting that in one breath you wish to have nothing to do with the democratically elected government of this country ……
Freeman Menard wrote: ...... I told them to just leave me alone but they can't seem to get it in their mind that I no longer wish to associate with them, and as such refuse to submit or abandon, or to apply or beg.....
That’s actually quite all right. I have no issue with that point. I actually believe that it is your right to want or desire to have nothing to do with the ruling party. That’s the joy of living in a democracy – comes with a price mind you, but one does get to choose. Lord knows those very same members of parliament that you so despise have driven me crazy from time to time too, and I remain a frustrated Canadian citizen like many of us here. I just express it differently than you, but that’s OK. We’re allowed to be different in this great country. I certainly don’t hold that against you.

But, be that as it may, I find your next action to be a hypocritical juxtaposition. On the one hand you deny the legitimacy of the duly elected government, you wish to be left alone by them, you refute its authority and legitimacy, and yet on the other you wish to then “utilize” two mechanisms of that very same capricious government as a means to your end..
Freeman Menard wrote: ....... Went to court today and got some documents, spoke with a lawyer and called the RCMP with whom I have an appointment and will be swearing out an information and taking it to court.......
Freeman Menard wrote: .... I will be bringing action against Transport Canada and the Minister of Transport in Federal court …..
Surely, if you wish to be “left alone” and you feel that government issued ID has no more authority than a notarized piece of paper, then it doesn’t serve your argument well to then turn around and begin using that very same federal body you so vociferously decry.

While you refuse to “apply and beg” for a government issued piece of ID, you are fine with “applying” to the police force for a background check? You’re OK with “submitting an application to bring the Minister of Transport and Transport Canada to court”? Surely, in terms of your context, this is also “applying”, “submitting” or “begging”.
Freeman Menard wrote: I could go get a police background check done which would include my whole life story and clearly identify me
Is it just the legal and law enforcement branches of the government that are the only two parts that DO hold legitimacy for you in your opinion? Or do you just selectively associate with the parts that only serve your interests when it best fits you?

To “use” the courts and the RCMP as a means to accomplish your ends against the federal government, whose legitimacy you refuse to acknowledge (and against WestJet for some reason), smacks of a philosophical flaw on a very fundamental level in your beliefs and actions.

Freeman. Please don't misunderstand my posts directed at you. I was merely probing for mettle fatigue. Accordingly, I think you have established your bona fides. Many here (of WJ employ) will unofficially lend support to proposals that eliminate gratuitous flaunting of our collective weaknesses by the Federales. The taxes alone cost us dear each hour of the day. And under whose right I ask!!

As employees we owe an allegiance to management. As share owners we have a duty to defend. Accordingly our interests become your interests become our interests and back again. You see?

Come back and engage and inspire. We are at heart free thinkers as pilots; but you must fight past our bluster, it's our first defense!

What I find strange is that you used a body that is "governed" by the Province of British Columbia to get your personal information, picture, and signature notarized. In that end you have an unofficial Province of British Columbia Identification card. Your ploy to confused the Customer Service Agent didn't work and now you're angry about it.

I checked out your website and more specifically your forum. Quite the bunch you have going on there. Ninjas and wolverines who specialize in hydroponics and energy trying to get out of student loans, trying to get out of traffic tickets or screwing over the hard working police. Use that above average intelligence you claim to have and gain meaningful employment that contributes to society instead of trying to "...claiming and seizing a valley...”

You broke your contract when you showed up without proper government issued ID. You entered a contract with WJ that you would follow rules laid out by WJ and Transport Canada when you purchased the ticket or agreed to exercise the privileges of that ticket.

What bothers me the most is that you want to fly WJ but you won't do your part to ensure our safety? By providing proper identification you're ensuring that you are who you say you are. At the end of the day I want my company to do everything it can to ensure that I'm safe and that my crew is safe too. I'm thankful you were denied boarding and that the system works. We have families and I don't want someone on my plane who wants to engage in terrorism. Who are you to put my safety at risk???

Huge Hammer, that was priceless.
Well, that poor soul is a good example of what bullying at school can lead to. Sort of a legal version of Columbine, kinda sad....

Ok...I know this guy is so far out there that even NASA couldn't get him home but how the heck did he get a letter with his picture, personal information and signature notarized without ID in the first place? They always ask you for ID at the Notary Public to notarize something.

By the way this took me 12 minutes to think about and write. You owe me $500 FM!

Health care can not be refused to any one in Canada; with or without a card. Without a card the presentment of a bill will do nicely.
