I saw what "flying through trees" can do on a Caravan. Not naming companies or names, but a lot of us know who it was. The leading edge on one wing was beaten back to the spar. Several branches were lodged in the engine nacelle. Cessna should have used it for an ad. They should not have been able to fly it home. Ground bad. Sky good.

This brings me back to that long discussion we had a while ago with Randleman about the dangers of flying in IMC for the ill equipped or ill prepared. A shining example if ever there was one.

Yeah thanks for that, IIRC I was a bit confused because as the discussion carried on, I was no longer sure if we were discussing going controlled into IMC as an IFR pilot (which is what I was referring to) or inadvertantly going into IMC.
