You're right, it doesn't have to long. But it should be there and with as few distractions as possible.

I envy you having students that study 2 days in advance :) They do make the work so much easier.

By the way, I've spent about 16 minutes on this thread, let's call it .3. Now at 45$/hour that comes to.... :D

Where I work all dual flights have a manatory 0.2 charged to the student. I ensure that the students get their money worth and then some. There have been many days when we can't get off the ground due to weather and I've hauled students into the class and reviewed weak areas off the books if I'm not busy. I'm sure the company won't like it but I feel great satifaction when they do well on flight tests and writtens and it's from those little extras that they get on the sly!!! Lets face it, rates are out of wack anyhow across the country. If it means I lose a little here and there than so be it but on the other hand I have had alot of students referred to me because of it which means more work. Out of curiosty how much is a C172 going for in your parts?

Actually I've found that it is in the favour of the school for students to do well. From a marketing standpoint, having high marks and averages on the flight test and written test reports for the school attract students to that school. It convinces students that the school has decent instructors available.

Dear Dyck Hertz,

On behalf of everyone else who write and read posts on this website I'm going to ask you to stop posting garbage like you have in the past. Most people on AvCanada are trained aviation professionals or perhaps people who are interested at starting a career. In the future please keep it professional.

Also, your comments about women are degrading(ie. de-briefing them). Although some of your posts are humorous in a twisted sort of way, keep them respectful the next time. After all we do have women on this site.

P.S. I would suggest you get a dictionary if you have trouble spelling.

Cheers!

"not only "where is this alder aviation" but are there any hot chicks there? "

"hey Stinky......... "

I have to say not only is your forum name immature, it matches your posts. If you obviously can't act in a proffesional manner nor control yourself please refrain from posting here. Your not funny, your just annoying. If you just want post crap I'm sure you can find a spam site out there somewhere.

$100 solo
$145 dual
pre-PPL $40 ground, post-PPL $45 ground.

$10 less an hour for 152.

EDIT: $140 dual for pre-PPL students

Cute.... I remember our class 4's getting supervision from our Class I, to bad he was at his day job while he was "supervising"...
