Don't forget that for a time, the normal job ad by companies like Canjet was for 737NG-endorsed pilots only, at a Captain's wage around 80K/year. If the foreign airlines that pay big money to canadian pilots instead hired the lower paid foreign pilots to work there they would sure bring down their bottom line. If the canadian airlines know about lower paid but equally qualified pilots how come the african/middle east/ asian airlines dont know about them?
