I just submitted my application online. Anyone know how long it takes to hear back (assuming you do)? Is online how most of the guys do it?

You can't expect a young aviator with only a few hundred hours, who has been working the ramp and not touched the controls of anything for more than a year to jump in a sim and fly away. Like I said the training department is there to teach not fuel the ego of an instructor.
Sounds about right. Things might be changing soon though

Where did you get that number? YWG ramp starts at $12 and only increases after your first year review, YWG cargo at $12.15, YTH slightly higher. Most of the guys on the ramp (YWG) are very new at this point too. There's only a handfull of guys on the ramp making more than $13/hour I would bet.
