It wasn't long ago they captured one of the American's newest Stealth UAV's so of course they have the technology. Not sure why everyone is finding that so hard to believe. The American's gave it to them or allowed them to capture it.

Only we, think that we, in the west can produce the best. Actually, Iran is ahead of canada, in that they build their own cars...and... may be planes. :smt040

What do you mean, don't Canadians build CF-18s, Hondas and Toyotas?

Revell-Monogram never published their decals in Farsi, eh? (not to be confused with "farce", eh?)

A couple more panel items:

Avmap EKP IV

Otto Stick Grip

Anyone see a throttle?

Aircraft Spruce has reps all over the world, several are in countries that have no embargos on Iran. Spruce sells everything I see there.

I would have no problem believing it if they didn't have a long history of bullshitting the public as to their development efforts.

-They photoshopped out a mobile ballistic missile launcher failure
-They found an image of an obscure Japanese UAV, photoshopped out some windmills, and claimed it was theirs
-They photoshopped mountains in behind the F-313 to pretend it flies, using an image from a hanger they'd release a week earlier as the source

If it was the Chinese, or hell, the Indians or Pakistanis, who don't have a history of doing this, sure, I'd believe it. Even the North Koreans.

Until I see it at an international air show, no, I'm not believing they made it.

EDIT/lil

Canadair built hundreds of F-5s over it's contracted assignment and tried to smuggle the overstock to various third world countries.

Caught red handed by Northrop and sued it's ass off, Canadair had them seized by the government and they were stored at Cold Lake or some other place out west... EDIT/lil
