Claiming that you want a gyroplane SPP would be a huge flag that you were doing something hinky. Transport does not want gyro planes or gyro plane licenses in Canada. It's almost prohibitively difficult to get licensed in Canada.

Figures - isn't . the only gyroplane instructor in Canada?

Alright so maybe not Gyroplane SPP but can I write down something other than a licence or permit? Like ATC IFR or something?

Do you think that's a good idea? I'm worried about them applying it to the correct license before it expires as it is. Trying to confuse them might backfire. Could be bonus for an ATC employee with a similar name to you.gustind wrote:Alright so maybe not Gyroplane SPP but can I write down something other than a licence or permit? I tried to change my address when getting a new Radio Operator's Certificate. Guess where they mailed the new card? My Parents still live there or I would have never known. I know Industry is separate from Transport but they act the same.

QEDthe employee eventually admitted that the fee is in place because TC sends out publications to pilots via mail ... she said oh yah, that's because they are all online now
