do you guys recommend doing the CPL at eid air..and the ME/FI at cargair or plm? trying to save some money and not screwing my training?

+1 I did my PPL in 45.1 hrs with Alain Richard in 2005 at CYJN. If you're military, ask about the discount on the PSP sponsored plane (C-GBSN). $30 annual membership to the PSP clubs in the Mega and I got the 172 GBSN for the hourly rate of a 152.
