Do you think the recalls would be before the bid later this year? or in the bid. Pls dont give me hope :prayer:
I am just speculating but I would assume that Jazz believes that the 123 active SKV pilots plus the Jazz 104 recalls are enough to staff the schedule until Bid 2021-01 runs. So further recalls would not commence prior to Oct 01st.

However, if AC gives Jazz more flying than anticipated, particularly increases in E175 flying requiring recalls of inactive E175 qualified pilots, then there would be recalls of inactive Jazz pilots on a 1:1 basis prior to October.

Time will tell. Good luck.

Have the 104 pilots already received their notice of recall? or will they be going out on May 1st?

They have, yes. May 1st is the return to work date.

Regional airline increasing by 200+ pilots and mainline still sitting on the sidelines AND not even on CEWS. Sigh.

Apples and oranges.

Nearly 41% of the Express pilots still on layoff/CEWS even after the recall.

Mainline has approximately 14% on layoff.

Agree this can be frustrating, but overall regional airline has more pilots on layoff than the mainline...

The only reason for the recalls is to make the most junior active Jazz pilot match seniority with the most junior incoming active Sky Regional pilot

Not exactly. It's a one-for-one recall for Jazz pilots to equal the number of active Sky pilots coming over.

no it was to equal the same amount of active Sky pilots coming over so no one could say "their recall position was taken by a Sky pilot". The DOHs don't have anything to do with it.

Not quite, it’s 104 recalls compared to 123 active sky regional pilots coming over

You're all saying the same thing.

The most junior ACTIVE Sky Pilot's DOH was December 2017. There were 104 Jazz pilots on CEWS who were more senior than that pilot, so they were recalled.
