Not a stupid question, but as with 99% of questions on here the answers are very easily found:

Basically, you must use an image that is hosted somewhere else (ie. photobucket)

or find one via google, go to that particular home page, right click on it, go to the properties, and there will be an address.

copy and paste it into your message on Avcanada, and put the "

which is really just
<IMG>http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f152/ ... mb.gif<IMG>

except replace the <> with []

there is a button at the top of the little window you write in that says "img" on it, it automatically generates the tags. usually it works best if you have the address highlighted then press the tags.
