Curious now that Encore has been around for a bit, how are the FO's managing to survive in YYC? I certainly don't imagine any of them have time to hold second jobs and if you have student loan payments/kids it must be impossible.

They mostly dont, the guys I know that went there are young single guys, renting basement suites.

Does Encore have a training bond for the Q400?

But GGN and Porter have bonds. Not sure about SKY.

No bond at Porter. Im pretty sure there isn't one at Sky either.

While I wouldn't feel bad for jazz given their current compensation, if you can call it that, that strikes me as a good way to burn bridges and give yourself a bad name in a small industry.

Isn't all this bond talk irrelevant? Are you going to get a Dash type rating then jump ship from jazz for big bucks at encore, encore to sky, sky to jazz? Any way you look at it you'll be making poverty wages in any of the bases those companies operate.
