Someone who flowed from Encore a couple years ago wouldn't be year 2, more around year 7. For anyone hired at Encore before 2023, years of service are maintained upon flowing to mainline.
Does ALPA expel pilot groups that lower the bar?

Wrong, you keep your years of service for bidding and upgrade but start at year 1 on the payscale.phenix wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2024 12:41 pmSomeone who flowed from Encore a couple years ago wouldn't be year 2, more around year 7. Man this witch hunt to figure out exactly how much JBI is making so you can shit on him: give me a break. He likes his job AND thinks there’s room for improvement. Move along

JBI is a good friend of mine. He has spent countless hours volunteering to make our profession better.FelixGustof wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2024 6:51 am JBI,
I assume you're one of the three who voted that the acceptable Canadian discount is greater than 50%?
Being proud of the $90 Canadian for a 737 compared to $240 Cdn for a Delta pilots puts you at 38% of their pay
Steep discount! "Only" 50% would be a good pay raise!
What exactly have you done to serve your fellow pilots? Let me guess, nothing.

I didn't join the profession because I think any pilot happy with making 38% of their peers is pathetic
I'd say if more thought like me, and less like "smiles are free", this profession would be further ahead
