Just spoke to senior 777 and 787 Captains both YVR and YYZ. Its a NO for them. After 10 years we finally have a chance to make a difference and we come up with Westjet pay and worse working conditions. Fake promises about scheduling improvements in Q2 of 2026?? There is no language in case the company is not going to deliver on that. No consequences for them.
To the yes voters: All I can say is you have a complete right to make a choice and I will respect whatever choice you make. The only suggestion I have is you look yourself in the mirror with your uniform on. Say to yourself “I am a pilot and I work for the national flag carrier of Canada. I AM WORTH THIS CONTRACT” (or I AM NOT WORTH THIS GARBAGE CONTRACT in case you are a No voter).
To the junior guys: I have heard a small percentage of you are a bunch of pu##ies and are saying well if we say NO this contract will go to Arbitration. One of you even spread a fake document quoting a law firm saying this will go to arbitration. Stop this stupid ass propaganda. Have some self respect. Show unity!
Vote NO for a better future. Remember, all the senior execs are laughing at a bunch of cheap labourer pilots who took a crappy deal even though there is a pilot shortage and thr company cannot get “FTEs”

Doubling down on the crazy!
You are free to vote however you want, however you will have to live with the consequences!
Please surrender your medical to the nearest authority. You are literally sick in the head.
You vote for the ndp, don’t you. I have a different opinion than you so I must be mentally challenged. Pound sand.

Pot calling the kettle black. You are the one calling for reporting the YES voters unfit for duty and denying them access to the jump. You clearly have a problem with people of different opinions.

Yeah I have a problem with people who vote incorrectly. You are probably one of those lunatics that support Hamas and hezbollah aren’t you.

As we approach the vote, I want to stress that we need to hold each other accountable for the decisions that affect our careers and safety. For those who are openly planning to vote "yes" need to face real consequences.
1. **Deny Jump Seats**: Anyone about to vote "yes" should face the consequence of being denied access to jump seats. We need to ensure those who are making decisions that could negatively impact us aren't given free rides on the backs of those of us voting responsibly.
2. **Report Unfit for Duty**: If you find yourself crewed with someone who is openly advocating for or has expressed intent to vote "yes," you should report them as unfit for duty. If they're not in the right mindset to consider the long-term consequences of their vote, can they be trusted to perform safely and effectively on the job? NO they can’t!
While this may cause some confrontation do not engage in verbal or physical abuse, let the police take care of those about to commit treason.
We must make it clear that there are tangible repercussions for the choices people make in this vote. Our safety, job security, and future depend on it. Let's stay united and protect what matters most.
Are you serious? …or just trolling? Deny Jump Seats and Avoiding flying with someone because they voted yes to a TA you don’t agree with? :/

Hey BrassCraft,
I have been reading your last posts in different threads, so my question is would you have written exactly what you are writing should you have used your real name??
I voted yes. Im looking at a 42% pay increase for the duration of the contract. Around 50K of ratification pay and over 400K a year on pension. I'll be around 350k with nav/oseas pay in 2027.
If you still think there is no QOL in this TA go listen to episode 15 of we fly the flag. The ability to DROP AND PICK UP from open WITHOUT CS approval is a MAJOR QOL ITEM. You can basically remodel your awarded month after it's published.

Meanwhile junior pilots are left out in the dust and can barely afford living. But thanks for sharing and letting us know how good you have it and how little you care about the whole group.
I'm a year 1 FO. I've got a kid, a mortgage and I finance my car. I can make ends meet but with not much savings. This TA provides a major uplift in pay and I can finally start putting money aside. I'm a Yes.

Me too. I’ve got a kid and a mortgage, but drive an old beater. Legacy carrier pay needs to be better at the start than to ‘just be able to put some money away’. I’m cancelling your vote out. I’m a NO.

Junior pilots left out in the dust? Did you even read the TA?
I actually think we're doing the company a favour by voting this down. You do not want 5500 pilots that just had their profit sharing taken away. Arielle's 50% on time performance target would take a massive dump if this went through.
It's not about what you can and what you can't afford, it's about putting a value on our time.
We are the backbone of airlines and we are becoming a scares commodity, it's a fight of a lifetime, we're on the verge of breaching a resistance line that will become our support line.
You wanna be cheap you know what to do, meanwhile management ppl are taking home millions in bonuses alone
Still can't support my family with this TA and need to keep my second job to continue paying a mortgage and groceries. Hard no from me. Don't know how anyone can support a family in flat pay unless they are YUL based.
I honestly can't wrap my head around all this fricken drama from the MEC and the membership. TA's get voted down all the time. Big whup.
Just this Spring Transat FA'S voted down 2 before accepting. Why is everyone acting like there's some sort of gun to the MEC's head? Vote no as is your right, then the MEC goes back and renegotiates the weak parts, possibly even just moves money around to better suit the membership. Watching this unfold is wacky. Lots of thin skin it seems, but I'm an outsider. Can someone please explain to me why this TA is being presented with such gravity and a little suicide kicker sprinkled in it? What's the big deal with just voting no?

Let's be real here. Everyone will vote based on "what's good for them". People will always put their interests before the well being of others. My guess is that it's going to be a 60% yes and 40% no vote. As a guy that wants to join AC, I hope they vote NO. What I wish is irrelevant...
