"...You have my solem promise that if I get my money back from TC I will spend ten thousand dollars on a celebration party for anyone who wishes to attend..."
If, with the help of everyone who has come forward, I can obtain some justice from TC regarding the Inspector who started this entire problem, I will match Cats offer and we will have one Heckofah party!

Where there's smoke, there's fire!
To "Busted on Principle",sorry, Based on Principle:
First of all, there are two sides to every story. I have just completed the paperwork for a new 703 operation, and I have had nothing but incredible support from M&M, Certification, Licensing and AOSH. None of these people are the "9 out of 10 coasting for retirement Inspectors". I can back up what I say.
Secondly, your former employer(s) did not have the fortitude to tell you that they had enough of you and they took advantage of the opportunity
(a TC audit) to carry out the deed and blamed it on the TCI. ( I dare you to challenge me on it!). As far as being contacted by SEVERAL members of the community, how many are there in a hamlet of 850 people, and what do they know about aviation and TC? Another one of your many fabrications, perhaps?
Thirdly, you are now bellyaching about unfair treatment to whoever wants to hear it; how does it feel to be at the receiving end? You don't hear from the pilots, including senior pilots, who have been wronged by the same thing you accuse TC of: sitting on the fence on a decision. As an old soldier, you look after your troops if you want them to follow you in battle; you shaft your troops and you get a bullet in the BACK of the head. Well some of your own troops shot the proverbial bullets; I certainly don't suggest that you should please every one, but your actions ( or lack of) had safety implications on company operations as well as a large financial impact on one of the pilots.
Fourthly, when there is no continuity in pilot history, or when substantiation is required to ascertain that pre-requisites are met to move from Ops Mgr of 703 to 704, you go where ever the search leads, even in another Country. Too many people have subscibed to the "Parker Pen Total Time". Surely you would not want some one to rise to the level of TCI on a "Parker Pen Syndrome". We would never hear the end of you whiners! So if they did question you credentials and you can substatiate it, what is your problem? Don't you ask that of new hires?
In closing, there are bad apples everywhere including within TC and like any one involved in this great profession, I have certainly had my receiving share, but for the record, the TCI we are speaking of is the first one to send a parallell finding to Ottawa when their own system is beyond acceptable levels; don't confuse his "energy" with intimidation. I have dealt with him on many occasions and like FTB mentioned earlier, although he is an imposing figure, I'm not scared of him, I just deal with him fair and square. I don't always win, but I sure get things resolved.

It is great that you have had "incredible support". Should you expect ANYTHING ELSE ???????
You have missed the point entirely. Certain information is confidential, or at least privileged and not to be shared, no matter what the circumstances are. Anybody with a spot of decency knows that. You have also been deceived. No matter what"good" you have seen, you are still under the thumb. Sooner or later, when it suits him..............

Helloedited. Thanks so much. This further proves that incorrect and slanderous information is being shared with persons who are not entitled to such information (Privacy Act Violation). Persons such as you!
Furthermore, you have shared your incorrect and slanderous opinions with others, which is why you are listed in the pending slander suit (Thanks for the extra piece of evidence...read the part about IP addresses and concerned parties below).
Interesting note, since you've now written them, it now becomes Liable AND Slander!
Next! To date, most of my "Former" pilots, other employees, customers and several RCMP members have offered support and encouragement in this matter. But, you'll be finding this out soon enough.
Finally, please get your facts straight..edited. Do you happen to know, that where I am currently employed, there is a Federal Government requirement to PASS a 10 year Security Check, Criminal History Check, Drug Test, and Employment Background Check prior to being employable.
And, all this information MUST be verified for the previous 10 year period, including a finger print based records check.
Parker Pen doesn't cut it here pal!
Be seeing ya...

No cash problem here.
Exactly who is getting agitated?
Sounds like you're playing a silly game..."it could be me from a buddies computer". What sort of behaviour is this?
Finally, my attorney loves the support that is coming in from many, many interested persons regarding the subject of this forum.

Trolls
These "Trolls". Are they found in the wild, or are they available in a domesticated breed. What do we feed them? Are they on the endangered species list? What does a vet charge for their "Shots" and, most important, should they be neutered or spayed?

BOP :
Trolls are animals that inhabit the internet, and are to cowardly to exist outside of the electronic world.
The best answer is do not feed them, their diet is being recognized and fed replies.
They are not on the endangered list as they get well fed.
Vets will not touch a troll due to the fear of contamination.
There is no need to neuter them because they have no balls to remove.
Trust that answers your questions and gives you some better feel for this animal.
Read some of S&J's contributions to this forum and let me know if you would like to fly with him as a crew member.

S&J :
A question for you.
When someone has done nothing wrong, why would they admit to making a mistake?
For your information I was complying with the rules, my issues with TC started when I refused to accept bully tactics from one of their M&M inspectors and asked for another PMI.
Senior in my case refers not only to age but experience, I would submit that my experience as a pilot and aircraft mechanic exceeds many here.
When you council others to admit their mistakes and pay the fine or do what is asked of us, suppose the person who you are counceling has done no wrong?
I would imagine that BOP will decide for himself whom his friends will be S&J.
By the way I wonder how many here yearn to be your friend, based on what they can read in your posts?
And last but not least as to whining about my aviation career S&J if only you could get a job one tenth as good as mine you would be very fortunate. However judging from the attitudes you exibit on this forum you would not last a week working with the people who hire me. Oh, back to the senior thing S&J, when one rises to that level in aviation and has the needed skills to sell, the monetery rewards are quite high.
Cat.

I am still in the un jet lagging syndrome so I have nothing better to do than stir the ants with S&J.
S&J you are really a pice of work. Some of your statements are so contradictory that I am truly impressed with your ability to color outside the lines whenever it suits you.
Quote :
" Some of us have to sit in the groove, follow the rules and grind it out until retirement hits. "
You must really be challenged in the comprehension department S&J.
I have been in the groove in aviation for over fifty two years, however, I unlike you can show a history of having not been convicted of rule breaking. Not to mention I have flown airplanes that you probably have never seen a picture of without ever having had an accident.
As to retirement, well I sometimes think about it but my services are so much in demand that retirement is not an option until I can no longer pass a medical.
Anyone who states he does not need friends within his working peers should seek counselling from a psychiatrist in my opinion..
Your comment about my losing weight I assume is a pathetic attempt to sanitize your remarks about the female FSS person, unless of course you are a homosexual looking for a new thrill. In which case I really am not in the least interested S&J.
There you go S&J some more attention to reinforce your need for your search for self worth.

Cat Driver don't let yourself get into a pissing match with a loser.
Someone with your experience doesn't need to argue with a guy who
lives between a metro and a computer. He's a sh*t disturber, nothing more.
And S&J ( Forget the Capt part, you have no respect on this board with me and a lot of others ) Where do you get off advising someone to "just take the violation like you did ?" Not all of us are such losers who just stay at home playing video games while our license is getting permanently marked
Maybe if you spent more time studying, reading regs, and making yourself a better pilot..instead of sitting on this forum and trying to start fights, giving uneducated oppinions, ( unwanted too ) and losing credibility with every new word ... you'd have less violations, we'd see less of you, and this forum would be a better place to be.
Go get a life, go find your fat ass a girl, ( want one of my 3 ? ) and keep your foul mouthed sh*t disturbing comments to yourself.
Just callin it like it is.

However, there's nothing on the tele, it's raining like a bear outside, so I cant go out on the Harley....my company never calls me to fly....so at least the "Cat vs. S&J" show is "live and in colour" right here in my livingroom...and ya just can't touch the entertainment value. It's free!

Hey Doc, what better to do on a boring day.
S&J is something like being in a freak show, you just never know what he will say next.
As far as breaking the rules goes , hell we all do that on occasion. It would be impossible to fly for a living without breaking some rule once in a while.
What amateurs like S&J don't understand is how and where to draw the line.
Anyhow it's nice to be home for a break and have nothing better to do than surf the internet.
.80@410 :
I only fence with S&J for entertainment, I can out think his ilk before I even open my eyes in the morning.

Update
Lawyer has completed several interviews with persons who have come foreward regarding this issue, and has told me that we should be ready to go infront of the court during mid August.
Thanks to everyone who has helped along the way, and I'll update everyone as things move along.
Catdriver. Will you be returning to Amsterdam in the next few weeks? Let me know. Maybe we can have a drink.

Adding Insult to Injury
To add insult to injury, I've just recieved an email from the specific company's "Lawyer". I will probably not be paid my remaining wage, and will most likely abandon any legal efforts towit.
But, I have a long list of the companies customers (Government Air Ambulance, other Government agencies, High Value Customers, Etc) , and those customers have already expressed an interest in any information I can provide them about things like...
Training practices that violate contractual requirments;
Pilot qualifications that violate contractual requirments;
Maintenance details which are contrary to contractual requirements;
And a belly full of other issues....
So, in short, I'm about to start doing a lot of talking. And, since nothing I say will be untruthfull, it can not be considered slanderous or liable. Nor am I concerned about being "Black Listed" as a company rep has threatened.
I've found that reputable companies appreciate people who stand up for "whats right". My current employer is one such company and supports my efforts to recover the money I am owed.
In fact, my current Chief Pilot said this, "...they don't want to pay the debt they owe you? Hmm, you should do whatever is needed to bury the ba*st*rds..."

As Promised
As promised earlier, I am updating everyone on the current developments.
As part of the process, I had requested from Transport Canada that - under the Freedom of Information Act - all information bearing my name, or in anyway associated with me, be provided to me at once. The envelop arrived today.
That the envelope is quite small is without dispute. However, I am aware of several persons who received telephone calls from the Transport Canada Inspector in question. Although I specifically indicated in my request, that "...any and all records, including telephone records related to inquiries regarding my person be included..." they have NOT provided them! Clearly, Transport Canada is protecting their own. Cat Driver is sooooooooo correct. The corruption at Transport Canada goes to the highest level, including their Freedom of Information representative.
I am returning to the USA this week where I will meet with my US attorney regarding the TC Inspectors accusation that I threatened a US citizen (He stated to my former employer that I threatened a US President). Such a statement could have significant effects on entry to, and residence in the USA, should such a statement become known to US Border Patrol or Immigration.
My US attorney has contacted the US Secret Service. They have categorically cleared me of such a thing, and are interested in talking with my attorney and me about the person (TC Inspector) who made this statement.
In short, this will not end until either, the Transport Canada Inspector involved is both Terminated from his position and prosecuted for violations of the privacy act, OR until I receive BOTH, a written apology from the Inspector, and a response from his supervisor or manager!
Updates as they come...

MCDU :
You are doing the freedom of information thing all wrong.
The last people to ask these records from are TC, they will just cover up anything that may make them look bad.
There is a person in Ottawa who will get all the information for you from TC. You must ask for everything your mind can think of including all phone records, all inter office notes, all of their personal notes, letters, e-mails and request that their computer hard drives be searched for anything that has your name connected to it as well as anyother words that may be related to any of your problems with them.....the cost to you is only five dollars.
Remember these people are just as stupid as they are arrogant, you wouldn't believe how stupid they really are.
E-mail me at
.@..org
I will give you the contact address and a phone number for the person who can get the records you want.
This person is well aware of how TC operates and has the force of Federal law to get what you want.
Unfortunately it seems your lawyer does not understand how to get this for you.
Welcome to the world of TC top management a disgrase to any civilized country.
These people think nothing of lying and denying things that they themselves have put in writing, they are unbelieavable liars and deniers of your rights. Sadly they get away with it over and over.
As soon as I un jet lag I will be posting my next move to get rid of some of the most dishonest of their management...

Remember these people are just as stupid as they are arrogant, you wouldn't believe how stupid they really are.
E-mail me at

I will give you the contact address and a phone number for the person who can get the records you want.
This person is well aware of how TC operates and has the force of Federal law to get what you want.
Unfortunately it seems your lawyer does not understand how to get this for you.
Welcome to the world of TC top management a disgrase to any civilized country.
These people think nothing of lying and denying things that they themselves have put in writing, they are unbelieavable liars and deniers of your rights. Sadly they get away with it over and over.
As soon as I un jet lag I will be posting my next move to get rid of some of the most dishonest of their management...

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no
After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.
