Dream flying job?? One in which I fly consistently (year-round) and can recieve a consistent paycheque. Doesn't matter if it is flying a C-206 or a B-767!

Be happy where you are though....the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

And don't forget to have fun!

I already got mine flying my little floatplane around. No loudmouth Americans, no bad weather flying, no pressure......it's great.

When your expectations are low you'll reach them that much faster.

Dream Flying Job?

Post by wasYKnowFJ »

The grass is always greener somewhere else. ‘Check Pilot’ – great post.

‘Northern Girl’, I left YK and found the job with the flowery shirt. I have warm weather year-round, white sand beaches, (mostly) happy tourists, no shoes or tie. So now I dream of better pay, better facilities, and a place where English is everyone’s first language. When I find that, I’ll look for the next set of conditions I ‘need’, and no doubt I’ll miss what I left behind.

The very words ‘Dream’ and ‘Job’ are incompatible since once it’s a job, it stops being something you really want to do all the time. But if I had to have one… My dream flying job would be to fly a P-38 in WW2. But then I might even find something I didn’t like about that.

The best places are the ones where you have good people to share it with. (That’s gotta be why I have fond memories of YK!)
