Please F--k Off

They don't say it like that though. It is usually a very diplomatic letter but it amounts to those 3 words in the end.

I am still in limbo also.

Correct me if I am wrong; if you have an offer, it comes by email/phone call, and rejection letters are recieved by snail mail?

Congrats to those who got hired, sorry to hear about those who did not.

Why don't you call them? I would be extreamly embarrassed if I let someone go that long.

I still haven't heard from them either and I interviewed the 3rd week of Oct. At that point they told me I would hear something anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months. :?

I got the same response as well. I've tried to contact them a few times and they aren't responding. If you haven't had a PFO are you in a hiring pool or something? Or have they just interviewed too many people and don't have the manpower to send out that many PFOs?

2 - 3 months and no response.....sounds pretty disorganized to me. i think they bit off more than they can chew with this hiring rampage....

Still in limbo as well.
Interviewed a while ago. Was told I would hear back in 2 months.
Tried calling in early December and was told decissions were going to be made in the new year.

I do know that some people were sent PFO's within a couple weeks of when they interviewed. Hang in there if you have no word, keep your chin up as I do. Congrats to those who have offers. To those that have PFO's, it happens to the best of us. Keep working hard, build some more experience, and your day will come.

I don't imagine it has anything to do with a piston or turbine time. Timing is everything.
I know at least one fellow who got picked up in October with under 1700TT (most of that instructing on singles, and less than 400MPIC on a piston).

Walk in your resume.

I've had friends get on there with 1,500 and no command time, to others with over 5,000 and plenty of heavy turbo command. They seem to be building up a pool of all sorts of experience.

Keep on doing what you're doing, get more quality time on that resume, send it again, call again, and go over your interview answers with others, perhaps you can use it as a learning experience like the poster above me said.

Half the battle was getting the call, and you seemed to get that, so brush it off, and try again.
