For what it's worth, the non flying duties that the dock/bush pilot seems to do would probably make anywhere from $15-25hr cash if they were hired as labourer or under a trade. I was making on average $20hr as a general labourer in all different trades, and as soon as I learned enough to "do the trade" and not just be the labourer, I was making on average $25 cash.

So yeah it's messed up that they hire pilots, and then make the pilots do the same type of jobs but pay them so much less. Criminal for sure
