I created a flying club so that I could fly more aeroplanes :D
I've flown too many to have just one favourite.

The first aircraft that I ever flew in was a SeaBee...the only reason that it got off of the water was because of the curvature of the earth!

In its primary role? The A10 would be the best shit show you ever saw. Close air support at 200 AGL doing 350kts. How can you possibly beat it?

Besides that, the P51, ME109, SuperConnie or (hate to say it, and Cat please ignore this, but) the PBY looks pretty cool too.

Most fun in a hull I've flown: Twotter, but there was a whole lot of island lifestyle in the mix, so maybe a little skewed.

Jets are boring, overall.

Never been in anything other than basic training aircrafts, BUT, from my "experience" playing aviation game "IL-2", I'd say that the japanese Ki-84 seemed pretty awesome.

Yeh it is a neat machine because you can use it to go fishing.

And it also makes lots of noise and looks good as you start the take off.

The most difficult thing about flying is knowing when to say no.

After over a half a century of flying I can not remember even one trip that I refused to do that resulted in someone getting killed because of my decision not to fly.

The old in-laws lived over the ridge from Dunsfold. Kind of odd to be in a 500+ year old house while the Harriers went overhead on their first test flight. Suppose I might add the Harrier to my list.

I'd have never learned to fly if I believed I'd have to be castrated to fly a particular aeroplane!

These are aeroplanes, you are not going to work in a Harem.

Just go out an fly one... Men need money, women need charm, and all is possible in aviation.

Two for the Skymaster! Never really considered it a 'best airplane ever', but it is fun to fly!

Since others are chosing more than one....

The Wooden Wonder.

The Grumman Goose.

And just to be different, the Long-Ez. I might build one of these someday...
