• Who's all waiting for a training offer?

I passed my 2nd interview in August of last year, so I have about 7 months left on my 18 months of eligibility. I'm still hoping, praying, etc that NavCan calls sometime.

Haha, even if they don't, I'll just keep applying. I'm sure I'll eventually get in

Green lit and waiting for a training offer in the YVR VFR pool. If I recall correctly from my 2nd interview in mid June, one of the interviewers said there was an in-house VFR course going through in the fall sometime. Anyone have an idea if that's true or if they're looking to pick up any street guys for VFR?

I got a green light as well...how do you know what stream they placed you in?
My message just mentions best of luck in all 3 streams, no mention of a particular one?

For you guys who made it past the 2nd Interview and received your training offers: how long did it take before your light went "green"? After that, how long until you were called/contacted to get ready for the course?

I was with a group that took a tour of the yyz tower a few weeks ago. Has anyone been offered a place on the september VFR course or May IFR yet? They said they were still filling the VFR but haven't heard anything since the tour.

I too was in that tour that we got at the tower... Never got a call for a VFR position though, and the website still shows as IFR training pool...

Greetings !!

I wonder how many others are in the same stage of the process ??

I had the interview in Surrey, BC this summer, and am still waiting for the little yellow light to decide which direction it's going to go.

I really enjoyed the entire process so far, and am hoping to continue with a course in the new year if the light goes green.

Hey Fellas (and ladies):

Anyone still waiting for training offers in YVR? This Thread went dead and I'm just wondering if anyone has gotten a call, or been placed, or readying for a course?

Would love any feedback (especially from all of you "lurkers" out there like me, just watching and not commenting (usually)).

I am still waiting here in YVR for an offer....Green light for IFR.
Nov 11 marked the 1 yr point since my 1st interview, 2nd was in May...waiting ever since. Last word was a course in the spring..not sure if that will be VFR or IFR though

The 9 month mark just passed yesterday since my second interview and it will be a full year in about 5 days since my first interview... Keeping my fingers crossed and still waiting for a YYZ IFR offer
