Landing past someone who is trying to take off does look in general to be riskier in addition to being a little confusing to the other pilot. More justifiable is landing short of another aircraft still on the runway. But do you know a rule that prevents multiple aircraft on the runway at once?

No, there is no rule preventing two aircraft being on the runway at once. The key is whether or not there is "a risk of collision", i.e. you need to talk to the other aircraft and be sure there is enough runway between you to do what you want to do safely.bodyflyer wrote:Just asking: Is that correct?mashowski wrote:
