Ron Paul is the only candidate that gets it, the problem is that he speaks the truth and most don't want to hear it. Obama is basically a preacher, he told the sheep what they wanted to hear but he couldn't deliver. Ron Paul isn't Pro-Israel enough for the Kosher Congress so he stands about a snowballs chance in hell of getting elected!

Its hard to pick a winner or someone capable to be the next President of the USA. You have to believe in SkyGods and all the associated myths before you can get past the first step. Pretty scarey when you have people who can't wait for the end of this world we live in actually running things. Who cares about the environment when 1/2 the country doesn't think we'll live long enough to worry about it.
Re: The next president of the U.S. of A. will be...
Ron Paul is a weasel.
He uses very strong sophist arguements to fool idiots who do not know how to think for themselves.
He confuses lack of social responsibilty with freedom.A complete lack of love for his fellow humans was proven when he let a friend of his die of cancer to prove apoint about personal responsibilty.Any weasel that would watch a friend die without lending a hand .That same weasel would kill anyone he does not know without any remorse using that same "Principle"
He is to the right wing what Ralph Nadar is to the left wing a spoiler who has zero chance of winning a seat in a shithouse nevermind the whitehouse.
I would never call someone like that my friend.I could never vote for such a ruthless weasel that lacks a heart and has no compassion for his friend and fellow countrymen.

But the people in California like him, apparently.

Rockin' Ronny is the only dude that even cares about the Constitution of the U.S of A., IMHO.
The BEST constitution in the world, also, IMHO.
Just read it. It's AWESOME!!! I wish Canada had something similar.

And I wish Americans would live by it- like Ron Paul wants to.

Apparently China is going to start buying up Greek bonds to try and prevent a collapse there. Who would have ever thought that could happen?Expat wrote:China has never pretended that they are out to bail anyone. They are playing their own game, like anyone else.AEROBAT wrote:If they don't get Ron Paul, and as much as I like him I doubt it will happen, you can learn to start living like it is 1932 all over again. Borowing your way out of debt has never worked. Taxing your way out of debt does not either.
Forget about China bailing the world as well. They are building bridges where roads don't exist and entire cities that no one lives in just to keep people employed.
Google up Ghost Cites of China.

Maybe they are going to promote the ancient Greek lifestyle to the one million men of mlitary age who will never have wives in China.Could be Sparta all over again

Seems today that China is exactly where they wanted to be: Europe is asking for investment, and that means dumping dollars, which is what it always wanted to do anyway. It seems that the whole BRICS will be involved, in the bailing out of the PIIGS.

You're also mistaken that the deficit should be a linear progression. In Bush's eight years his policies and lack of oversight of the financial industry set in motion an accelerating downward spiral that is going to take a long time and a LOT of public money to reverse. Even longer now because the Republicans refuse to increase government revenue or reign in Wall street, so for the most part the US is still blundering down the same disasterous road.
And you guys think Obama is failing because he didn't just snap his fingers and make everything right again.
That can’t be correct.....can it??
http://www.speaker.gov/News/DocumentSin ... tID=264606900 Days & Still No Budget from Senate Democrats
Washington (Oct 16)
Stopping Washington from spending money it doesn't have is a key part of the Republican jobs plan. The Democratic-led Senate, on the other hand, has now gone 900 days without passing a budget and is delaying action on more than a dozen House-passed jobs bills. In the Weekly Republican Address, Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) - a former small business owner - urged "the president to call on leaders in his party to follow the House, listen to the American people, stop pushing ideas we know won’t work, and pass these jobs bills." McCarthy also highlights potential areas where both parties can work together to remove barriers to job growth.
The only good progressive is a failed progressive. I thought you said he passed a budget?
Re: The next president of the U.S. of A. will be...
Herman Cain is looking interesting. Solid business background. Knows how to speak without a teleprompter.
If he was to get the Republican nomination, it would be very interesting to see how the black vote plays out.

I'm waiting until the new year when the primary comes to my state but I'm torn between Cain and Romney.
I'm partly hoping that Cain wins so it takes the wind out of all the progressives sails, ie. racism.

Re: The next president of the U.S. of A. will be...
OK, the reality is it really doesn't matter what colour the candidate is for me. If Obama was my brother I'd still think he's slime. Cain could bugger goats after lights out and so far, I'd still overlook it based on his accomplishments and his philosophy.
What I'd be curious to see is how many of the "progressives" and the black voters who voted for Obama not because of his character or his platform, but his race, switch and why.
I hate to say it, but I suspect that some will switch and vote for the guy with two black parents.

Who also was on the board of the Kansas City Federal Reserve (a private cartel of the largest banks in the USA if you didn't know- it has nothing to do with the government).

So if you think he isn't owned by all of these dirty banks, please puff, puff, pass some of what you're smoking to me.

Re: The next president of the U.S. of A. will be...
Ron Paul...Its funny how the mainstream media gets in peoples heads and tells them who the "front runners" are. The ONLY problem Ron Paul has is money and his lack thereof. He was asked why he didnt run as an independant, and he said because you would need to be a billionaire like H. Ross Perot was/is. They just raised almost 3 million $$ for him in 3 days online. He believes in liberty for all. He will stop nation building and bring the troops home...He will abolish income tax (that was implemented in 1914 as a temporary measure to fund the war effort) and it never went away. Some ask how could we possibly afford to cut income tax? The truth is income tax represents only 15% of the gross overall revenue of the USA. His cuts of 700 bases in 135 countries alone will recoup all that and more...plus you will keep ALL you earn, then throw it back into your economy...creating new jobs. He believes in a strong National Defence, but no nation building or policing the world. I think some may be VERY surprised by his showing in the Rep primaries. He is a modern day Barry Goldwater...but this time, if he gets the nomination, ill bet he beats Obama and shocks the world. People are starting to take notice of this brilliant man and I sincerely believe he is the last hope for the USA...or their empire will fall...as all others before it. Greed has rooted in Wall St...we bail out AIG, Fanny & Freddie, meanwhile the rest of us are struggling to buy gas and keep our homes. Dr. Paul`s message is simple... be responsible for yourself...and dont count on the government to solve all your problems. To call a 12 term senator and former US Air Force flight surgeon a weasel??? Thats a bit harsh...and you might want to read up on him and his positions before you are so quick to dismiss him as "crazy". The man is spot on with his foreign policy, smaller government, less spending and a true method to address the 16.5 trillion dollar debt that increases 4 BILLION dollars every day. www.ronpaul.com
RON PAUL 2012... America`s LAST hope for true liberty and freedom.

If you are willing to let your friend die without lifting a finger to help that makes you a weasel to me.
For a doctor to stand by and watch a friend die without offering help proves that some of Martin Heideggers extreme right wing philosphy has indeed survived the fall of the third reich.
Does he have any chicken farmers or architects for friends or did he let them die when they did not have medical insurance as well ?
I wonder if his voting record matches his rhetoric.Would that be poetic ?

First of all, he is considered the most consistant and HONEST politician in Washington. Almost everyone agrees on that. So yes, his voting record matches his beliefs. He was one of only 2 (Rep) congressmen to vote against the Iraq war.2R wrote:If you are willing to let your friend die without lifting a finger to help that makes you a weasel to me.

The real problem I have is finding ANY information on this apparent friend he let die? If what you say has even a slight amount of truth to it, wouldnt the mainstream media jump all over that to discredit him further? I invite you to give me some sort of link to this story of him letting a friend die. Thats so ridiculious and against everything he believes in. He is a Physician who is pro life, and has delivered some 4000 babies in his career. He served proudly in the US Air Force and you want people to believe this man let his friend die? Your going to have to substantiate your claim before ill even discuss it further. Why do people who disagree with his politics, always resort to such outlandish claims about him. He is old school thats forsure...but he isnt a heartless bastard who would sit back (as a medical doctor) and watch and allow his friend to die?? Come on, seriously??
