As for the fanwing, I can imagine an engine failure would be somewhat terrifying. No faster way for you to turn your airplane into a brick with a tail to ensure you arrive at the crash site before the rest of it.

Well it actually happened, at least two of them died from that crash. But still US Forest don't like 415.
