I to wonder about some of the people here who seem to put D.O. on a really big pedastal and whorship him like some sort of aviation god.

I wouldn't exactly say I've put him on a pedestal(maybe a bar stool!!), and I certainly don't worship him as a god.. I do however respect him as a man.

He is a friend of mine, plain and simple, who I've known since he was running Seahurst Aviation. Now most of you were lucky to be kicking the shit out of your diapers back then so I wouldn't expect you to remember that. Over the years I have watched the time and effort that this man has put into trying to provide a decent place to work for some of you who are now whining about him. He certainly never got rich doing this and continued to work at his "Real" job to support his family while he reinvested every nickle the company brought in to make it a better place. The amount of time and effort invested by Dave and his wife really shows how much the cared about the company, at the same time, the employees always came first. They always looked after their employees well and treated them with respect(which is more than I can say for the way some of the employees have treated them).

This is why I support Dave, he is a good man, and I consider him a friend..

Dave kicks ass, always treated everyone at Westex like family. Not to metion he's one of the smartest guys i know. Not many people have his kind of vision fo a growing airline.
