OK Mr stick shaker ! thanks very much for your comments and advise. And as far as you being in my shoes, you will have some growing up to do for that. You certainly dont have a hope of being in my shoes in this lifetime. Better luck in your next!

LOL. Believe what you will. It matters not to me. However I sincerely doubt that your position is so unique that you can afford not to consider other opinions. :prayer: And while you continue to walk every mile in those "shoes" I hope that you don't step in sshit along the way because you won't have a union to help you scrape it off. Or if some of your pilots have it their way, maybe you will...
Either way, best of luck, and I hope that CJ continues to achieve opulence and success in your market.

See ya at the ALPA Board!

Helmetfired,

Sorry to disappoint you but I am not Airwings. Yes, at times I have access to information others may not, this is one of many reasons why I don't post on public forums. Secondly, if I have something to say I don't need to hide behind a computer without my true identity being known.

Each person has their own ideas and expectations of what a company should be like. It is obvious your expectations are different than mine and that's okay. We both come from different backgrounds and have experienced different events in our careers which make us who we are today. When Royal / C3 went out of business in 2001 many people changed and so did their attitudes towards aviation, this includes myself. My outlook on life in aviation changed when I was standing in the unemployment line wondering how I would make my next mortgage payment.

Besides the point of being happy where I am, Sunwing was never an option for me. Excellent management, excellent pilots, flew with many of them at Royal and I continue to have the utmost respect for many of them. Personal reasons such as a wife with a career and a 1 year old daughter at the time would have made it impossible to leave the country for five or six months.

Jetsgo; at the time my chequing account was not fortunate enough to have 30K, never applied. Probably a good thing considering Cargojet called me two months later.

If you feel the need to personally go after individuals to somehow enlighten your day then so be it. While you do that, Ajay, George, Dave, Mark and I will do everything in our power and the company's to bring back a level of normality each of our pilots and their families are looking for.

Best Regards,

When does Cargojet take delivery of the 757 ? What company flew it prior to Cargojet getting it?
