I was thinking of ISTP this afternoon ..... and wondering where "the self avowed Communist" went to ..... he made some great contributions to the water cooler.

I forgot my password to the site...when I came to with a dry mouth headache in that strange room lucky I had my address on the driver license though. Wife says I can't go to the City by myself anymore.
Just as well.
So squeezed in, can't always land into the wind-Crazy bastards land airplanes on skinny little Pavement there.
Speaking of crazy...
Before the trial for making dozens of very low passes over the nudist colony, Judge sends the pilot for a psychiatric asessment.
Shrink draws a stick figure on his notepad, asks the pilot:
" what's that?"
Pilot says
"...ooOOo...that's a naked lady "
Pyschiatrist draws a stick figure bending over , 'Whats that?"
Pilot drools a little ,says
"Ooooo..that's a naked lady bending over ..'
Shrink draws a stick figure lying down, 'what's that?"
Pilot wipes mouth off, says
"...oOOoooo, that's a naked lady laying down.."
Pyschiatrist looks at the ceiling a bit, then says :
"You know, it may not be very professional of me, but I have to say, in all my years in this business, I've never came across such
a sexual deviant as you .
Pilot says; "What the hell are you talking about, you're the one drawing all the dirty pictures!

It's not too bad, the hours are flexible enough for me to continue looking after my kids, they buy us pizza quite often and I get to pretend I'm a rabbit.

The tragic part of the loss of the water cooler is that even though it got heated, most of the time it was intelligent, and everybody was a willing participant... that is a sign of mutual respect in its own way.iflyforpie wrote:Probably with all of the other Water Cooler junkies in Water Cooler heaven. You would have missed me. I'm in Victoria enjoying my first trip in 18 months since getting the big "C", which is almost all gone.complexintentions wrote:
As an aside to gas prices - just got back from a GVA trip. (Sorry bmc, always forget to drop you a line! arrgh.) Man what a beautiful city and the arrival takes you right past Mont Blanc. But Jye-EEEzuz what an expensive place. Gas is 1.85 CHF/litre, about $2.23 CAD/litre.
The trick to gas in Geneva is to rent a diesel and pop over to France for refills. iT works out to about 1.56CHF as it's subsidized by the French govt.
Off to YOW on Wednesday for a week. Toying with popping down to Smiths Falls for some hangar snooping. I hear there are some machines down there.
Cat...hoping to talk to RH before I leave the island.
Avcanada has been great. Yes people have come and gone, but it's always frequented by guys who share the passion of flight and bullshitting.

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no
After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

Actually, the place needs the water cooler. You should be able to comment on the fact Michael Schumacher is out of his coma without being placed on forced vacation. This site is big enough to have a non aviation forum. The demise of the cooler cost us some highly entertaining posters. Just a thought. Napoleon Solo and Mr. Waverley agree with me.

I thought the problem with off topic conversations like, "Oh man that van crash with the comedians in new jersey was brutal." Was in addition to not being aviation oriented it was occasionally offensive to potential advertisers.
Couldn't the solution have been a hidden or private forum?
The solution to those that hit the small box containing ! 53 times a day would be to kick them out of that area.
Just babbling, does not matter to me anymore.
I even created an off site forum and only expat ever joined. No idea if anyone else lurked. I can't even remember the URL anymore.

I am impressed at the strength of the fence that contained the rock chunk; considering the force developed in its fall.

I'm still a very very very casual lurker.
Watercooler's disappearance changed the vibe on the forum, and certain posters made being here un-enjoyable.
