Hifly, you are still a fool. For anyone else, wake up this place is a complete gong show. Its a great place for 9A old guys to catch a couple of years of work before they knock off.

GB, You have gone from 90k to under 40k and likely to sit there for a number of years in the rhs. How do you know AC/Jazz will not be back in bankrupcy by the time you get a move and then possibly let go. Who is the fool? There are risks at every job! I and others like the working conditions at CJ with many great people to work with and it is simply not as you and others try to make it out to be. Personally, it is the best job I have had and I do not want to go back to a large airline plus a cut in salary of 50% or go to India etc. just for a few extra dollars for a short time. As for Cant Stand Ya - reading your non constructive and uninformed posts I agree your name is very suitable!

What can I say.
Leaving cj has increased my take home pay by about three times. Not to mention the oodles and oodles of benefits I now enjoy. I have more time to spend with my family than I ever have had in my life as well.
I don't know...maybe i just can't think of that many positive things to say about an establishment such as cj.
hifly I think you should call yourself BubbleBoy.

First of all Hifly, you would be lucky to get 2 years out of CJ . In 2 years at my new place the pay will be more in the right seat than CJ's left seat. Secondly my new place looks to be in fine economic shape. Thirdly maybe you have age on your side to fart around with a KR operation but many of us dont.
Cj will be the first airline to call it quits if anything happens such as,an economic downturn, no pilots, terrorist activity, high fuel price, green tax, owner croaking, cheap competition , and so on.

Hay BubbleBoy,
Tick Tock Tick Tock
You'll be flying single pilot before you know it.
That will show us skeptics!

It is almost time for a new, low-cost charter airline.
CanJet's timing might be good this time.

It is almost time for a new, low-cost charter airline.
What's your reasoning behind that?

by Brad MacKay
Well, nothing sientific, just a gut feeling about the cycle of the industry.
Established companies get expensive. This allows small nimble lowcost ones to undercut and grow.
CanJet was unable to succeed as a niche sked airline. I think CanJet stands a much better chance as a charter airline and I think the timing is good for them.

If you have a pulse, and know what color the sky and ground on an EFIS screen is. You are CJ material. Good luck.

Over 100,000 views! Even the demise of Jetsgo didn't get as much attention.
This really indicates the level of passion the pilots, maintenance, FA's (and all other employees too) felt about this airline. It demonstrates not only the level of dissatisfaction about the deplorable working conditions, but also how passionate we were about making CanJet work depite IMP's negligence. We did our part, it was mangement that screwed it up. They only have themselves to blame.
