Instructing in Another Country

Hello,

I am a Canadian Flight Instructor considering working abroad. Has anyone had any experience with this and know what countries my rating is transferable between.

Yes, I do have some experience with this. Most countries will accept the Transport Canada licence and rating excluding the US and European countries.

I have also thought about doing this, any specific countries and/or flight schools abroad that have a reputation for hiring Canadian instructors?

Look into Korea Aerospace University based at the Uljin Airport in South Korea.

You will need a University degree and at least 200 hours of dual instruction given.

You can have 1,000's of hours of instructing and
in the vast majority of cases, you will
still need to do a ride and written exams which will be
easier if you have some experience but, its still a learning
curve going to another country.

I do not know of a single country where you can instruct
on a Canadian instructor rating without obtaining a local
licence and ratings.
