I am bit confused in choosing the flight school in canada. Right now I am done with FAA private pilot and instrument rating in United states. Planning to move canada to do commercial and instructor rating. Is there any good flight school where I can do it. Initial planned to do it in toronto airways, but it seems they are closing the buttonville airport on october 31st 2016, is this true. And how about Toronto airways flight school?.

They've been closing YKZ for years now. It keeps getting delayed. It is likely not going anywhere this year.

Toronto Airways is IMO crap. Look elsewhere in the GTA. There are plenty of other schools that will gladly take your business. Toronto Airways has incredibly expensive prices ($80/hr. for an instructor, their multi goes for $400 an hour pre-tax). Many of the instructors are arrogant wanna-be airline pilots who think of themselves as gods gift to aviation. Their highly restrictive minimum weather requirements will keep you on the ground most days, such as no upper airwork when the temp is below -10, flights being cancelled because it's only 5-6 miles vis or 'hazy'.
