Good afternoon everyone,
This happens to be my first post... So apologies is this is not the right place.
I just finished my PPL written exam with a 65% partial, failed the general knowledge part of the exam with 57%. I studied all the material at home instead of doing proper ground school, which is why I most likely got such a miserable mark. I'm planning on doing the real ground school for my CPL, IFR and ATPL. I also got 92% on my actual flight test...
I was wondering how should I go about continuing my training? How much more difficult is the CPL compared to the PPL? I'm sure it was my lack of proper ground classes that I got such a low mark.
And finally, as for actual airline training, how much more difficult is it compared to the base pilot training? Is it like two different worlds?
Lots of questions, sorry about that. Just a very stressful time right now considering all the time and $$ it'll take to one day, hopefully fulfill my dreams of being a working pilot.
Thanks guys!
Training from PPL to CPL to eventually, airline job.

As for the written exams, study study study and study some more, don't forget to practice the more applicable content like reading and understanding weather, you should feel comfortable with everything the exam asks of you. See the video below.

As for the difficulty in air exercise's between the CPL and PPL flight test, why not take a look at the CPL flight test guide and decide yourself? There's a few extra things in there but in the long run they shouldn't be much of a challenge, get some dual and practice until you meet the flight test standards. For now, focus on the PPL written, getting your PPL, and keeping your butt in check once your licensed. You will be fine.
I can't comment on airline training vs. flight training, however understanding attitudes and movements would go a long way I imagine. Perfect your crosswind landings as well..
Better to get your questions out there and have them answered then wonder! Welcome to the forum CYHUC6!
