Nope. I've got 5000 hrs. B1900 PIC time and they wouldn't hire me for right seat B1900. It's tough out there.

My dream job is to fly Air Georgian's Toronto-Kingston route which would take me over my old home and beautiful coastline of Lake Ontario.

If you're originally from the area and you've been a pilot for a good amount of time you must have a number of internal references. I don't know anyone from Ontario that doesn't have a buddy at GGN. One of them I'm sure can lock you in for an interview.

I've never worked at Air Georgian, impossible to have internal references.

Sure I did but not now as they have left for regionals and majors across canada, many former Capt's whom I flew with starting out and many more past First Officers whom flew with me are all across the country.

Then you're golden! Why are you so concerned about emailed resumes and online applications? It's all about internal recommends, so just have some of those guys who are now at those regionals, which I'm sure you must been friends with, pass your resume to a CP?

I have no contact information, people change their phone numbers and emails all the time and I don't keep contact with anyone that leaves. Plus most job ads don't say anything about having to know someone.
