Survey for Canadian CPL and ATPL

Post by rocket81 »

It only takes 5 minutes of your time.

https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MWTX538

This Survey is for Canadian licenced pilots with an Airline Transport or Commercial license on an airplane and/or an helicopter, also you must be flying on for a Canadian operator, or be actively looking for a job in commercial aviation.
This survey has been set up by a group of Commercial and Airline Transport pilots who are working to improve conditions of employment for the entire industry.

Our goal is to make piloting a sought after career again and to ensure pilots get the respect that they deserve.

A few of the things we will focus include:

1.Pay to fly,
2.Training bonds,
3.Fair wages,
4.Security access,
5.Jumpseat occupancy and,
6.The validation of foreign pilot licenses.

Before we can move forward, we must have verifiable data and information from the pilot group of current working conditions in Canada, and this is especially important for non-unionized pilots.
We encourage everyone to respond, and we hope you will participate in large numbers. Please share the links with your colleagues.
Thank you for caring about your profession and your fellow pilots.

The questions are hilarious!

You missed the one asking "Do pilots deserve to be paid more money, be more respected by the public, or both? (You may give more than one answer.)"

Certainly the answers to these questions will be accepted as reliable factual evidence both by Transport Canada and employers across the nation.

Please enlighten me, why do you think TC has anything to do with pilot working conditions?

The sense I got from looking at the survey was that is was designed with more than a bit of bias built into it. But maybe I just got the wring impression.

I filled it out. No harm to it, besides I haven't got any real complaints in that regard about my job at the present time.
