Jeppesen.com is great, I have no idea what the subscription costs but you can get the whole world and Jeps are really nice to look at.

Unlike the US where you can get the plates in Electronic Format (All of Them and current ones), Canada (Nav Canada) does not publish them in electronic format..
Beware of the US ones for Canada as the US Department of Defense stopped updating them some time in late 2006 is memory serves me correctly..
Jeppssen is about the only way to get current electronic charts that I know of, but for the average private flier, I doubt the cost would be worth it, unless you are flying all over the country..
My $.02 would be to get a subscription to the CAP for the Year.. It's about 20% the cost of buying new maps every cycle, and they automatically show up at your house before the cycle begins by a couple of days by Fedex..
