Aerobatic training in alberta?

Post by recon »

I am wondering where in Southern Alberta offers aerobatic training? What are the details about it, is it a rating or an endorsement? How many hours of flying is involved? Thanks.

From what I understand, there is no rating unless you want to teach. I have a friend who owns a share in a decathalon near Calgary. I'll ask him who to talk to out there. PM to remind me.

In the calgary area, the best people to talk to would be Jenkins Aviation, owned and operated by a guy named doug. He is a freelance instructor who operates a Citabria and a super Decathalon. I have not done any aerobatic training myself but I have many friends who have and are very happy with the instruction they got. his number is 403-932-4000.
