No I'm sorry you're wrong. That is actually a picture of my house that john travolta stole for publicity. I use the 707 to pick up chicks.

Those pics are little dated. I don't think he lives there anymore. It's a fly-in community and neighbours complained the 707 was too noisy. I think he sold it about a year or 2 ago.

It's better to break ground and head into the wind than to break wind and head into the ground.
The neighbours complained? Typical bunch of morons! You live AT an airport for Christ's sakes! How neat would it be to be awakend by a 707 on a Sunday morning??? BooHooo
local airport near my house always has neighbors complaining. Airport has been there 40 years and the housing developments for 15-20. Go figure.

Not quite, if you notice that 707 is painted in Qantas colors, and John Travolta went on a 12 city "Spirit of Friendship" tour with that plane as Qantas' Ambassador-at-Large to promote world unity and such. When he did the tour in 2002, Qantas also allowed him use of their 747 simulator and put him through their course. He completed the course and was checked out as a F/O on the 747.

You are incorrect. Travolta sold his house in Spruce Creek 2 years ago and moved to his current residence (which are in the pictures) at Jumbolair in Ocala Florida. Jumbolair allows non-residents to fly in for breakfast on Sundays, but it will soon be completely closed off to the public eye. http://www.jumbolair.com/
Spruce Creek Fly-in is like an aviation museum except the exhibits are legendary aviators. It is semi-open to the public and I highly recommend paying them a visit if you are in town. Guys who pioneered military and civil aviation (Bill Lear and a couple of the first pan-am guys come to mind) reside here, many of which are always looking to be bought a coffee in exchange for sharing their stories. My weekly visits to the fly-in have have been the highlight of my tenure here.
Jumbolair is the brainchild of this lovely aviatrix:
Amazing curves, lovely figure, enticing presence and the dame is pretty cute too.
I had a friend who was a fire fighter where Travolat lives. One day he showed up at Travolta's house to do one of those routine smoke alarm inspections and said Travolta was a real tool. Why does that not suprise me??
splits, please define REAL pilot. i have a problem with comments like yours and BEDE. he may be an asshole but i'd rather hold an opinion on someone elses character until i've had a chance to judge it for myself. i believe that a few years back travolta had an complete electrical failure while flying his HAWKER 800 to Washigton DC. he managed to land at national airport (now called someting else) under some very difficult circumstances....not a real pilot? it sounds like jelousy is behind your guy's comments, and who wouldn't be. but lets not bad mouth someone just because he has things that we don't.

"Real pilot" - A pilot who operates an aircraft from the surface of the water, either liquid or frozen

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you!

He is.. couple of years ago he flew into CYHU and at least got out to say Hi... Celine Dion didn't even get out of her MU-2, not like it's any big loss...

Juan Trippe from Pan AM in 1981
Yea I am lying. Don't dare impugne my honour, boy.
It's William Lear Jr and Juan Trippe wasn't the only big name to go through Pan Am...But how would I know, I only live 2 miles from the goddammed fly in.
REAL PILOT: Some poor smuck who attempts to put food on his plate by flying airplanes for a living.
John Travolta has a pilot's license and flies for fun. In my book that does not make one a real pilot, regardless of which planes he flies or if their electrical systems fail or not.
I know one shouldnt judge people until they met them but Im pretty sure he's an asshole.
I met J.T. a few years back. He was visiting CYYJ for his wedding anniversary. He was a pretty nice guy...he was short (height) and soft spoken...not like in his movies!! He brought up his G-II (Jet- as he named it) His pilot was also a nice guy....gave a tour of the plane and let me hang out for an hour or so. And most important..Kelly Preston.....WOW
Check out the website. The runway is 7,550' x 250' and apparently there are two other 707's that live there besides travolta's (hard to believe I know). Every house has a street in the front (gated of course) and a taxiway out the back that is 30-75' wide.
Does anyone else think it would be really weird to fly a 707 at an airport with an ATF?

Doesnt surprise me one bit, for starters he's a scientologist.
