Hello all,
Just wondering, what aviation colleges have the Jazz Pilot Pathway program, and how many students from each graduating year do they usually give the opportunity for the interview at Jazz straight after graduation?
I am specifically more interested in Algonquin College, Sault College, and Confederation College.
Thanks.

It's a likely thing these days to get on with Jazz right after a College Program but don't bank on it. Be ready to work hard if it you arent one of the lucky (unluck) few. I see PICUS as a scam and you'll lose all hand and feet. I might be a bias opinion but after instructing for 2 years and a 703 Captain for a year and now getting a call from Jazz for the "amazing" opportunity to interview i get frustrated how they are in such a rush to pick up guys with 100.2 PIC and 1.7 Actual IFR

Thanks for your info. It was interesting to read, however, that did not come near to answering my question.

Man. What a crappy sounding career path. Good for "Progression", but you'll will miss out on all the amazing moments, people, and stick and rudder skills garnered from the first few jobs.

+1 for going up north. Jazz is a great job, but i wouldnt trade 4 years seniority for the 4 years of my life spent up north. Theres more to life in general than being a number, and theres way more adventure for new pilots out there than doing victoria, sudbury and regina turns. Just my two bucks worth.

I couldn't disagree more. I'm obviously in the minority. While I had fun "up north" it's not like I feel my life would have been lesser going right into my current gig. Your hands and feet will disappear regardless when you get to a mainline job. Just the nature of it. I've never made more money and had a better lifestyle and perks than I do now. If I could have gotten this from the beginning it would have been really nice. Then again, flying is just a job to me. Maybe I'm in the minority there too.

So Sault College I know has it, actually just a few more schools were added to the list!
To be considered for this, you need to get a 4.0 GPA your entire school career at either university or college you end up at, which is very difficult I've been told. Only a select few are chosen every year, Im not entirely sure the numbers, but I believe if 4 get chosen (per school) it is a miracle.
With a quick google search, the list is: Algonquin, Chicoutimi college ( in quebec), confederation, Mount royal university, okanagan in BC, sault college, seneca, western university
I google jazz aviation program and the first link has more information.

You don't need a 4.0 GPA. As far as I remember you need at least an 80% on your CPAER, INRAT, and IATRA exams, a reference letter from the CFI and two instructors, and at least a 3.0 GPA, although they are somewhat flexible on some things.
