What base are you applying for?
Toronto is the most likely to have openings. Each base operates a little differently, so knowing which base will allow me to give you an accurate idea.

Sorry - got busy there.
3 Caravans - up to 6 pilots, normally rotates 5.
When the aircraft are fully staffed you can expect to work a normal 2-3 days out of 5 with varying reserve on the remaining. Weekends and holidays off.
Single pilot IFR, with North Bay, Sudbury and the Sault as your destination. If all 3 vans are flying, you will just go to the single destination. Sudbury has the longest day with a jump up to Timmins, back to Sudbury for the evening pickup.
Flow onto the 757 is/was pretty quick. It is a relatively young company with an average pilot age of 40. Last I checked, 757 Captain is about 10 years with the company.
You rack up Holiday Inn and Marriott points like nobody's business, usually by year 1 you are platinum at both so it makes for good upgrades when you go on holidays.
Year 1 Caravan pay is still hovering low 50s.
Year 1 757 is upper 60s.
Caravan pay caps at around 74-77.
The company tries hard with social events but with 3 major bases, it is tough to keep everyone happy. All in all, great company, great customer (FedEx), pay needs to come up in the next agreement or they are going to lose a lot of guys to the airlines and the door will really spin.
Hope that helps.
S.

1 year, 10k training agreement.
As per the contract must live within 1 hour drive unfortunately. Their is some flex with that rule, but bottom line, phone rings you are expected within 1 hour.
The 757 guys are a little different but so is their schedule. Again its working the grey area and likely going to get you a meeting with the CP down the line.
Good luck,
S.

Where did you get your information? You should just google search their Unifor Contract. There union does not allow training agreements or BONDs. The only thing I could find in their contract not being able to bid for any other aircraft posting for one year.

The post asked for Morningstar 208 drivers.
I am giving you first hand knowledge. If the agreement or possibility of an agreement is so troubling to you, don't worry about applying.
When I sat down for my initial interview it was 10k, 1 year and a handshake. They originally had a bond to sign but we never got there. 1 year there goes by fast, you fly about 550 hrs on the van.
Good luck to everyone interviewing.

I think 2000 hours with 500 pic.
Or 1500 with time on Caravans or single pilot turbine IFR.

Are people really getting that lazy that they cant even go and look at the actually job ad to see what the posted requirements are?

So at their website there`s only the C208 Cpt position, no 757 FO. As our friend said they are hiring for this position too, and there`s no official info, why not to ask?
Don`t liked it? Proceed to the next topic and be happy.
