Crazy how it took 50 years for the plane to finally get to the museum. What a journey… I hope I'll have the chance to see it there soon.

Re: Fogotten Aircraft
This particular L12 is a well travelled aircraft. The first owner in 1936 was Continental Oil Company, Ponica City, Ok. In recent decades the aircraft was owned by an acquaintance of mine. He flew it to New Zealand where he was living at the time. Kept it there for several years then flew it back to the States. 3 years ago he flew it to Duxford UK for their annual air show and then back to the US. About a year ago he sold it to a chap from Belgium. My acquaintance ferried it to Belgium with the new owner. Later on It had a bit of a minor mishap on landing at the home airport in Belgium but has since been repaired and is serviceable again.
