Greetings all,

For anyone who's been to FS for a type rating, do you know if the study material on their online Flight Bag is accessible permanently or only for the duration of your course? Just curious to know if I can still access it in the future for refreshing or clearing things up.

Thanks

For me at least, its available on flight bag forever and you get updates when they update the material.

It depends on the manufacturer.

For example, if you've been typed on a Cessna product, you'll have access to all the training manuals/flashcards for that type on Flightbag forever. However, if you're on a Bombardier product, you will have access to them starting about a month before training starts until about 1-3 months after you complete training.

The good thing is, if you sign onto Flightbag via their website, you can download PDFs of the manuals during that period and you'll have your own copies that you can access whenever you want (although they don't get updated).
