I know B200 F/O's that make $90.0000 per year!
Keep the dirty side down.

Re: Central Mountain Air FO Pay
This thread actually makes me sad. Such a great time for pilots right now and these 703/704 operators still want to get away with paying peanuts. Sigh.
Re: Central Mountain Air FO Pay
Not left seat qualified? I seriously doubt it unless they are in the military or are related to the owner.
Co captaining is not the same.
Re: Central Mountain Air FO Pay
Not L/S qualified, not private!

Re: Central Mountain Air FO Pay
Believable. There's lots of decent 703 operators out there, but you don't hear about them because they're decent places to work and there's little turnover.

If it’s a union job why are being so secretive???? Union agreements are literally public knowledge. They are all posted on negotech

Re: Central Mountain Air FO Pay
Ok so $77k. Per diems are not salary and OT is not something for everyone. So I ask again, what company? What is the big secret?EPR wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 9:58 pm F/O Salary 77K, 40 hour work week, overtime at x1.5 and x2.0 depending on situation, union job, shift differentials, weekend premiums, STATS, no mileage, not including per diems ($1500 per/yr avg), good pension, home every night, fly 275 hrs per year. 5 years from now when you want to have a life you’re only going to have 1300-1400 more SIC hours in your logbook to move on with.
That’s why they are paying so much.
Now… if they offered you an upgrade at that time with a commensurate pay rate like $130-$140k a year + OT and all of the extras, then yeah, you probably found a dream job and good for you.
But captains usually camp out and die in those spots.
Look at Kal Tire out of Vernon. They used to be the same way. They had to pay a premium for FOs but they had nowhere to go even though location and aircraft and lifestyle was top notch. Nobody can afford a house there anymore on an FO salary no matter how good.
Used to be you had to know somebody to go there. Now they are offering DEC on job boards and becoming a co-captain operation.
Re: Central Mountain Air FO Pay
Bob, I agree with most of your analysis except the SIC hours part as 2500 is the min. to start with.

Nor, apparently, do you learn from past experience - such as being given a vacation for picking a fight.

Re: Central Mountain Air FO Pay
Cuz the job likely doesn't exist or he's embellishing significantly. Otherwise what would be the point of secrecy? These are things that should be shared with fellow pilots, not hiddenNorth Shore wrote: ↑Mon Oct 24, 2022 5:06 pm What's with all of the cloak-and-dagger BS? Post the company publicly f'r pete's sake!
